Where to collect warframe frost

Warframe Frost

This Warframe guide focuses on the character Frost, a slow and heavily armored Warframe capable of using both offensive and defensive abilities to help herself and her team.

Frost is a good defensive Warframe that performs well in defense, mobile defense and survival missions - in general, anywhere where you need to take a position and defend against waves of mobs. In other missions, he is significantly inferior in efficiency to faster characters.

Frost controls moisture and steam and is able to create both strong ice protection and direct deadly attacks. He specializes in freezing skills that slow down and paralyze the enemy.

Mods (skills)

Frost, like any Warframe, has four basic abilities:

Frost's mods

Freezing- a powerful ice blast that freezes enemies in place. deals damage and freezes the enemy for 10 seconds. Dealing damage to a frozen target will unfreeze it. Upgrading this skill will increase damage.

Ice wave- Sends out a wave of razor-sharp ice crystals, causing massive damage to enemies. It hits all nearby enemies with an ice wave. Improving this skill increases damage and wavelength.

Snow sphere- Frost creates a protective sphere. Enemies inside are slowed down, and those outside cannot shoot at those inside. In many ways, this is the same skill that makes Frost so prized for running in a group. Upgrading this skill increases the slowing power of enemies inside the sphere. It is impossible to penetrate the sphere at any level, except by throwing grenades at it.

Avalanche- Frost freezes all enemies around him for a short time, and then smashes them, causing good damage. Upgrading this skill increases the range of action. The disadvantage of Avalanche is that it has a very small radius.

Let's list Frost's additional skills, which are mainly used to improve abilities.

  • Stretching- increases the range of all Frost's skills by 45%.
  • Flow And Streamlining- allow you to use more skills in a row.
  • Body type- speeds up the rise to your feet by 40% and the duration of Frost's ability by 28%. Increases the duration of the sphere, as well as redirection and survivability, which increases survivability.

  • Rejuvenation (Aura)- team health is regenerated +0.8.
  • Overstressed- adds 75% of the ability’s affected area. Reduces 50% of ability power.
  • Instant assessment- increases the energy efficiency of the ability by 60% and reduces the duration of the ability by 60%.
  • Fast reflection- Shield recovery has been accelerated by 90%.
  • Flow- increase in energy reserves by 160%.
  • Rush- adds 30% to speed. A very useful skill for Frost, who is naturally slow.
  • Focusing- increases ability power by 30%.

Weapons and equipment

The choice of weapon for Frost is not important, but we can recommend a shotgun - it will help you quickly deal with enemies who have broken into your area.

The choice of helmet for Frost depends on whether you play defensively or offensively.

Helmet Squall- suitable for an attacking playstyle, increases ability power by 25%, but weakens shields by 5%.

Aurora Helmet- suitable for a defensive style, strengthens armor by 25%, but reduces health by 5%.

Frost Drawing

Blueprints in Warframe describe the set of components needed to create a weapon or the exo-suit (Warframe) itself. You can view the already assembled and other necessary components in the forge. The drawings look like cards, like mods, but are distinguished by their yellow color.

Where can I find Frost's blueprints? These drawings are obtained from a boss named Lieutenant Lakh Krill, who is located in the Exta location on the planet Ceres. This is where you can knock out Frost.

The blueprint for assembly costs 25,000 credits. Assembly lasts exactly three days. The impatient can pay 50 platinum for an instant build. Well, the lazy can buy a ready-made Frost for 375 platinum.

Frost prime

Frost Prime is not much different from normal. All differences come down to the additional polarity slot and appearance. Otherwise, Frost Prime has the same abilities as regular Frost. But its improvements open up wider modification possibilities.

Prime costs 15,000 credits. Assembly time 12 hours. Instant assembly can be done for 25 platinum.

In this guide we will talk about the Frost Prime warrior. This is a special Warframe, the “Prime” category, which is indirectly different from a simple Frost.
Warframe Frost good at defending targets. Creates an impenetrable protective dome from steam and moisture, which covers it and everything around it with a radius marked in the skill. Deals lethal damage and is designed to destroy using low heat. This is a very common Warframe among fans of team games, in situations where the help of the entire team is needed.

Warframe Frost Prime has the same abilities and skills as the regular Frost, but has improved polarization cells that open up wider modification settings for him. Frost Prime is said to have a special reaction to technology Opokin.

A heavily armored Warframe, like Frost, is useful in team play and defense. In such cases, the appearance of Frost and his protective sphere (dome) is most effective.

Introduction

Frost is a very strong defensive character with the nastiest traps.
Unlike the same trap, its traps can be placed anywhere, they are practically invisible and do not break from an accidental hit.

There is an opinion that Frosya is useless at high ranks, because she is not picked in the pro league. At the professional level, opponents usually watch games and study the opponents' tactics. So in this particular case there are characters who are more useful and have better weapons.

But in a ranked game, your opponent is always different. It is physically simply unrealistic to check every corner, turn, bedside table, window, and so on. So Frosya is quite a playable operative. In this guide I will show my favorite and most importantly 100% working tactics.

For the faint-hearted, I’ll leave a reminder that the guides are designed for beginners and intermediate level players who want to raise their rank and skill.

I accept adequate criticism, I add toxic trash to the blacklist =)
Beaver everyone!

And separately for the juvenile clowns who say that my guides are copy-paste from Wikipedia.

choose a character (even if you don’t have one) let’s say... frost, type frost into Wikipedia, copy her name, weight, the name of her dog, her weapon, etc. Now we are looking for a picture, preferably full-length

I specifically looked for Frost on the wiki, the result is below.

You can also run the text through some kind of anti-plagiarism; for example, I found 1 website. Apparently that's where I stole this guide: D

Well, apparently I’m stealing straight from the future =)

Connection with Alibi

Like Ela, Alibi can help in a similar way. Ela doesn’t let her aim, and Alibi closes the snare with her illusion.

Frost tactics

We have already figured out where to place the traps. Now the tactics of playing with snares.

A couple of key points

Start of the round
I don’t see the point of hiding from drones for too long, but still, you can avoid getting fired for 10-15 seconds, it won’t hurt. If you are playing with a team, you can ask a couple of teammates to meet the drones. If you are not noticed, then the snares are unlikely to be checked.

If you are tagged or a drone passes by
For example, you were setting a snare, and a drone passed by. even if he didn’t tag you, he probably gave information to his teammates. We must immediately kill the drone and take our snares. They probably won’t work, so it’s better not to rely on fools, but to immediately throw the snare to another place.

The enemy clearly started from the opposite spawn
You set a snare in the hope of meeting the attackers through some passage/window, and they appeared from the other side. The chances of your snares going off are very low. It’s better to collect everything and transfer it to another place.

Always control the snares
This is a mandatory rule. You or your teammates should always be able to finish off the enemy. Otherwise, the enemy will simply raise his comrades.

Don't use the same tactics every time
If the enemy was caught in a snare in one round or simply found it, then in the next round he will probably check the same place. Use your imagination and don't repeat yourself.

Tactics

At the very beginning, we are engaged in the usual strengthening of the point that we will defend. Ideally, teammates shoot drones. Even if you are found, there is nothing wrong with that.

Towards the end of the preparation phase, we move to the place where we are going to set the snares. It is advisable for teammates to count the number of crashed drones. Before installing the snares, we quickly check the default locations for drones.

Attack phase. We are close to the snares and, if possible, avoid fire. If a drone finds you, we kill it and run to any suitable shelter nearby. If the drone finds a snare, then we simply leave.

The enemy was caught in a snare. We are in no hurry to kill him. We're just waiting for help to come to him. If there are several snares, then even after the second snare we do not give away our position. In principle, you can make -4 with three snares, but usually only two fit under the window, and the third has to be placed deeper into the room.

I usually try to leave one snare with me unless there is some special idea on the map. For example, you killed those who were trapped and their rescuer. We run and put another snare in their corpses. It’s especially cool when the enemy lost his defuse there, it’s just 100% your frag. Another option is to place the last snare in a corpse nearby, they are also rarely checked, but each player can have their own corpse.

Another thing about Frosya is that, in principle, she is not very afraid of Dokkebi’s calls or all kinds of detections after the snares are installed. This is an excellent byte option for our snares.
