Error 99 - short circuit

Numbers 99 blink on the display for a while, then the column turns off with an error message L.O..

Reason #1. Water temperature sensor is shorted(make sure that the heat exchanger does not overheat). The error can only be eliminated by replacing the sensor and its wires.

Error H1 - insufficient heating

The column does not heat the water to the set temperature.

Reason #1. Given heat under high pressure. The column cannot heat the amount of water that passes through the column. Reduce pressure.

Reason #2 . The burner is clogged with dust. If you notice that gas is burning orange, and the flame is sluggish and elongated, then it’s time to clean the burner. If you neglect cleaning, this error will appear constantly. The column efficiency will decrease by half. A lot of soot will appear.

If the Neva Lux boiler experiences a failure or incorrect operation of any of its systems, it displays the corresponding error code on the display. This makes it easy to find and fix the problem.

Error code 01 - Ignition error

This code means that the boiler has a problem with ignition. In this case, the device does not start up. Possible reasons:

  1. There is no gas supply. It is necessary to check the shut-off valve on the gas pipeline. If everything is in order there, then it is necessary to measure the pressure in the cylinder, provided that the unit runs on liquefied gas.
  2. The spark plug is broken. Unrepairable, requires replacement.
  3. Problems with the spark plug electrical circuit. To eliminate it, you need to check the contacts and the circuit itself.
  4. The gap between the spark plug and the burner section is set incorrectly. The gap should be adjusted according to the instructions. It should be 5 mm with a tolerance of no more than 0.5 mm.
  5. The spark coming from the spark plug electrode jumps onto the combustion chamber shell. To eliminate it, you need to move the shell away, bending it together with the spark plug installation.
  6. The spark plug is covered in dirt. Needs to be cleaned and degreased.
  7. Broken ionization spark plug. Needs replacement.
  8. Problems with the electrical circuit of the ionization spark plug. It is necessary to check the circuit itself and contacts.
  9. Ignition transformer failure. Install a new one.
  10. The electrical circuit of the ignition transformer is damaged. Check the circuit itself and contacts.
  11. The burner block is dirty. Perform cleaning.
  12. There is a problem with the gas regulator electrical circuit. Check the circuit and contacts.
  13. The gas supply regulator is faulty. Replace it.
  14. Thermal relay failure. At normal operation it should open at a temperature of 90 degrees. Needs replacement.
  15. The electrical circuit of the thermal relay is damaged. Check the electrical circuit of the heating sensor and its contacts.

Error code 02 - Water temperature has exceeded the permissible value

This code means that the water temperature has exceeded the permissible value. The BaltGaz boiler is down due to an accident. Possible causes and solution algorithm:

  1. There is no flow in the heating system due to severe blockage. Needs cleaning.
  2. Thermal relay failure. Normally, it should open at a temperature of 90 degrees. It needs to be replaced.
  3. There is air in the heating system. Release it through the bleed valve.
  4. Severe contamination of the filter located in the heating system. It needs cleaning.
  5. Valve and bypass problems. Most likely it is installed incorrectly or is broken. Check that its installation is in accordance with the instructions, replace if necessary.
  6. Pump failure. Replace.
  7. Damage to the air vent valve. Needs replacement.
  8. Damage to the pump relay located on the electronic board. The board needs to be replaced.
  9. Damage to the gas regulator. Install a new one.
  10. Incorrect gas regulator setting. Carry out the setup according to the instructions.
  11. The electrical circuit of the overheating sensor is damaged. Check the contacts and the circuit itself.

Error code 03 - No traction

This code indicates a lack of traction. The device was stopped due to an emergency. Possible causes and solutions:

  1. Exhaust gases are not removed, which means the chimney may be clogged. Clean it.
  2. Poor air supply to the firebox. Clean the air supply duct.
  3. There is no tightness of the pressure switch tubes. Make a replacement.
  4. Problems in the electrical circuit of the pressure switch. Checking contacts and circuits is required.
  5. Pressostat failure. During normal operation, the pressure switch contacts close if the pressure drop is equal to or greater than 130 pascals. Needs replacement.
  6. Condensation has accumulated in the pressure switch tubes. Remove condensation.
  7. The electric circuit of the fan is damaged. Check the circuit and contacts.
  8. Fan failure. Repair or replace.

Error code 04 - Insufficient water pressure in the heating circuit

It shows that the water pressure in the heating circuit is insufficient. The Neva Lux boiler was stopped due to an accident. Causes and solutions:

  1. The water pressure in the heating system is below normal. Make up the heating circuit with water until the reading required by the manufacturer pressure gauge.
  2. Airiness of the system. Release it through the air vent valve.
  3. Damage to the water pressure sensor located in the heating circuit. The sensor needs to be replaced.
  4. Damage to the pump or air bleed valve. Repair or replace.
  5. The electrical circuit between the pressure sensor and the electronic board is damaged. Check the connector contacts in the control unit, as well as the contacts on the sensor. Check the electrical circuit for continuity.

Error code 05 - Error in the temperature sensor responsible for heating

Error code 06 - DHW temperature sensor error

  1. Damage to the DHW temperature sensor. Replace it.
  2. The electrical circuit between the sensor and the board is damaged. Check it and contacts.

Error code 07 - Gas regulator modulator coil operation error

Incorrect operation or breakdown of the gas supply regulator modulator coil. The device was stopped due to an emergency. Possible causes and solutions:

  1. Damage to the gas regulator modulator coil. Normally, its resistance should be 80 ohms. If damaged, replacement is required.
  2. There is no contact between the modulator coil and the electronic board. Check the electrical circuit and the contacts themselves.

It is impossible to turn on the Neva Lux boiler

  1. There is no electricity in the network. Contact your electricity supplier.
  2. The fuse on the board has blown. It needs to be replaced.
  3. Moisture has entered the electronic board. To resolve this, try drying the board with slightly heated air, or remove the board and place it in a dry, warm room for several days. It is important that the water evaporates completely.
  4. The electronic board may be damaged. In this case, the reset button will not help. To fix it, you need to disconnect the device from the network and try to turn it on again. If this does not resolve the problem, a new board should be installed.

There is a popping sound in the burner

  1. The minimum gas pressure and ignition power settings are not set correctly. These parameters need to be readjusted.
  2. The air supply to the burner is too poor. To fix it, you need to clean the pipe or channel through which air is supplied.
  3. Problems with a spark from the spark plug electrode. It slips onto the edge of the burner section or onto the shell of the combustion chamber. To eliminate it, you need to slightly bend the spark plug, or, conversely, move the shell away from the combustion chamber. This way you will ensure that the spark gets into the area of ​​the nozzle holes of the burner section.
  4. The burner block may be dirty. It needs cleaning.

When the Neva Lux boiler is operating, there is a strong smell of gas

  1. Perhaps the seal is broken somewhere and gas is leaking. Check your circuit for leaks and determine where gas is entering the room. Eliminate.
  2. There is no hot water in the taps or very low pressure. Pressure cold water supplied to the DHW circuit is not enough for correct operation. Contact your cold water supplier.
  3. The water filter is very dirty. It needs cleaning.
  4. The filter is located on the DHW line. The water temperature in the taps is much higher than the set temperature. To eliminate this problem, it is necessary to increase the amount of water passing through the DHW circuit. Can also be diluted hot water cold. However, the flow rate cannot be reduced.

Water flow through the hot water supply is too low

The device works fine in DHW mode, but does not work for heating the house

  1. No jumper room thermostat. Install it.
  2. The room thermostat jumper that closes the contacts is broken. Needs replacement.
  3. The room thermostat itself may be damaged. Replace.

The system is supplied with a temperature lower than that specified by the setting

The sensor for controlling the temperature of the water supplied for heating is broken. First of all, descale this sensor. This is true if a submersible sensor is installed. Or make a replacement.

When the device is in pause mode, it shows the symbol “—” on the display.

However, it does not respond to any buttons. The voltage supplied to the device has become more than 190 - 250 volts. To eliminate this malfunction, ensure that the voltage supply is within acceptable limits. Every 30 seconds the unit tries to start in automatic mode, and it will do so until the problem is resolved.
