The game has good graphics and level design, perfectly conveying the spirit of piracy in the Caribbean in the 17th century. Although the local environment is perceived solely as a beautiful scenery - for a full-fledged world that lives according to its own laws, capable of changing or at least somehow reacting to the actions of the protagonist, the Curse of Raven's Cry locations do not pull at all.

There is also a certain desire for historical accuracy in the game when demonstrating a pirate life, as well as in the proposed reconstruction of the mores and customs of that time. True, all this is rather fragmentary and episodic, often remaining unnoticed under a thick layer of clichés and fictions.

The main advantage of Curse of Raven's Cry is the amazingly staged naval battles (thank Neptune, they are present here). It can be described in three words: epic, spectacular and gloomy.

In general, the game is far from being a masterpiece, and only the most notorious piracy fans may like it.

A multiplayer action game focused mainly on fairly simple but exciting naval battles against other players involving a large number of ships of various classes.
