Secret locations in Dark Souls III: Peak of the Ancient Dragons. Walkthrough of Dark Souls III - Archdragon Peak - Archdragon Peak

To get to the target location, you must first get rid of Oceiros (the Consumed King), and also open the tomb next door (there, when searching the body, you can find a new gesture “Path of the Dragon.” After studying the latter, you can first return to the plateau for outside the Irithyll dungeon, find there the skeleton of a creature that is half human, half dragon. Having gone further to the dead bodies, use the gesture you just learned, which will unlock your path to the Dragon Peak, which was the initial goal.

Before you continue the passage of Dark Souls 3, we note that after studying the part of the location described above, it is very advisable to come again to the tomb behind Otseros (where the new gesture mentioned twice was discovered), the extra walks are worth it, because now you can pick up all the bloody armor there dragon

As for the new location, which we have been diligently making our way to all this time, we start in the middle of the gorge, here the route variability is zero - there is only one path along which we climb higher. We make our way up, leaning on the left side, there is loot in the form of the soul of a tired warrior on one of the corpses. There you will be attacked by snake-like creatures armed with curved swords. They do not pose a big threat, but still do not relax.

Pay special attention to the enemy who uses two swords at once, with which he can effectively block your attacks. In response to your attack, he is able to carry out a deadly counterattack; in general, be careful. Having dealt with all the opponents, continue the passage of Dark Souls 3, rising to the top of the cliff, there you will find a body, search it and take the gem.

When you go around the corner, be prepared to be attacked by another enemy, this time the threat is posed by balls of fire, which he releases directly from his mouth. Further along the left side of the terrain there is another enemy, and in front his comrade-in-arms may jump out from around the bend, so it is advisable to lure the first one immediately to yourself, and not to approach him yourself. Any cover you can hide behind helps a lot against fireballs.

Having slightly cleared the area, you can come to the same path that led us here, there is an elevator on the right, which, however, is not yet accessible. You need to go through the place where you already fought against creatures that look like snakes, you will soon find the first fire on the map and at the same time a body, when you search it, coal falls out. After the fire, go further up the damaged stairs, on the right side you can pick up the soul of a nameless soldier, on the left - titanite.

Now continue through Dark Souls 3, passing under the arch, but still best alternative- climb the stairs accessible from the right side. Next, go along the steps to the left and you will come across an ambush. What we did not recommend was going under the arch: you would have run straight into that same ambush from the front side, but now you have a head start in the form of the opportunity to attack first.

Beware of an enemy that looks like a snake, which is lying on top and is waiting for an opportunity to rush down to attack you. Another local enemy has a hefty ax, which, despite its size, flies at an enviable speed, so be careful with it. It is best to try to roll behind him, from where you can inflict maximum destructive damage.

Having finished with the enemies, examine the body on the arch, the great shield of the Ancient Dragon will fall out, and you can find another corpse under the stairs below the arch, search it for loot as well. Now you can already activate the lever that unlocks the main gate, but before visiting the watchtower it is advisable to go to the left of the gate, where the doors are smaller. There is also an enemy like a snake. The area is interesting for us because of the presence of a ring, go inside and you will come across a rather strong enemy, which we will analyze separately in the next chapter.

one of two secret locations in the third part of Dark Souls. Before the boss Oceiros, the Consumed King, learn the Way of the Dragon gesture (at the bowl in the center of the room).

After killing Oceiros, use the bonfire and travel to the Irithyll Dungeon. From the first bonfire in the location, go out into the corridor and turn right, and then left, to the bridge leading to the opposite side of this corridor.

Then turn left again and, before reaching a dead end, jump down to lattice door(initially it is closed and opens on the other side). Inside, use the elevator and go outside. Here, at the cliff, you will find figures of dragons sitting in the Way of the Dragon pose. Sit between them, after which the cutscene will begin.

In total, two bosses await you in the Archdragon Peak location: the Ancient Wyvern and the Nameless King. To access the latter you must ring the bell (the white fog of the entrance will appear directly opposite the bell, so don't be afraid of the pseudo-chasm in front of it).

If you have already defeated the Dragonslayer Armor, then after killing the Nameless King you can pick up the armor of the same name as a reward. Also, killing the King will give you the ability to take on Dragon Form.

Abandoned Graves

The second and last secret location of the game Dark Souls 3. Externally, it completely (except for lighting) copies the Cemetery of Ashes and the Temple of Fire - the very first zones of the game.

Abandoned Graves are easier to find than Archdragon Peak. The path to the location lies immediately behind Oceiros, the Consumed King.

Go through the passage behind the fire into the next room. There you will find the Path of the Dragon gesture and a chest with titanite scales, behind which hangs illusory wall. Break it to get to the Abandoned Graves.

Here you can get many useful sets, items and weapons:

I. The armor of the Black Knight has a small chance of falling from enemies of the same name, as well as a glaive and an axe.

II. Gravekeeper Armor, which drops quite often from the Guardians themselves. They can also yield sickle blades.

III. In the corner where you previously fought with the warriors in coils, who is armed with the Uchigatana katana, lies the Blade of Chaos.

IV. You can buy beautiful Wolf Knight medium armor from the old merchant (the only familiar character you will meet in the modified Firelink Shrine).

V. Three rings: Ring of Prayer (faith +5), Ring with Hornet (increases critical strike by 30%; drops from the knight on the right side of the entrance to the Firelink Shrine) and Ash Ring of Estus (increases the power of an ashen flask with estus).

Some fans of darksouls 3 play through the entire game without knowing about a very cool feature: your hero can become a dragon. It's difficult, but it's possible. The Dragon Skin will give your hero special characteristics, special AoE magic and resists that will appeal to many darksouls fans.
In darksouls 3 how to become a dragon without harming your character? To turn into a dragon, you will need to obtain, through hard battle and blood, fragments of a dragon statue: the Dragon Head Stone, the Dragon Body Stone, the Shimmering Dragon Body Stone and the Shimmering Dragon Head Stone. And as always, all these items do not wait and gather dust in one place of the game world, but are scattered throughout the map.

First, you need to get to a secret location - the Peak of Ancient Dragons (ArchdragonPeak). This location is not required to be completed and the Old Dragon gesture is required to enter it. You take it in basement with a fountain and a corpse located behind the hall with Oceiros, the Consumed King (in the hall where you fought). From the corpse you get the gesture required by the scenario.

Let's start with the very first item, this is the Dragon Head Stone. You get it in a victorious battle over the boss “Ancient Wyvern”, which lives on Archdragon Peak, which is a secret location in the game.

To get to the indicated location, you will need the gesture that you obtained earlier. Activate it next to the monument in the Irithyll Dungeon.
Next, we proceed to obtain the next artifact, namely the Dragon Body Stone. “Diving” into the Dungeon of Irithyll. We run past the sentries and jump out to the abyss with the dead. There, spin around the statue and the necessary dragon body stone will appear in your inventory.
Now we are waiting for the search for the Shimmering Dragon Torso Stone. We run to the end of the map to the stone coffin in the already known location called Archdragon Peak. The Shimmering Stone we need will appear in your possession after using the Way of the Dragon gesture.

All you have to do is find the Shimmering Dragon Head Stone - the last artifact on the path of your dragon transformation. Without a torso, you can't get the head. In the Fire Temple location, you need to talk to NPC Hawkwood until the end of the dialogue. Leave and re-enter the temple. Then talk to Andre to convey the message. Next, we run to the “Guardians of the Abyss” bonfire, where a tough fight awaits you with the unpleasant Hawkwood. The conditions of the battle are simple: your victory means you get the necessary head, but if you lose, you lose the body stone. But you can fight again and regain both your torso and your head.

When collecting a full dragon set, you will look like this:

But if suddenly you want to have only the Dragon’s head and inflict massive fire damage, then remove only the hat. If you fully dress up as a dragon, take off all your armor.

And the most important thing is that you simply cannot get out of the Dragon’s form there. Only through death. For a more detailed tour of transforming into a dragon, see here:

To get to this mysterious place, you must first kill Oceiros, the Consumed King, the boss of the Consumed King's Garden location, and then pick up the Path of the Dragon Emote gesture. Having this gesture, return to Irithyll Dungeon (in the hall with the giant, run through bridge into the sewer with rats, turn right to two huge rats, run further and in the large hall turn left and go up the stairs). You will see statues sitting on the edge of the cliff and looking at the castle in the distance. Sit near the statue on the mat and use the Path gesture. of the Dragon.

Note: Having opened this location, return a little later to Oceiros' grave, and in the place where you picked up the gesture, you will find the Drakeblood Set, including Drakeblood Helm, Drakeblood Armor, Drakeblood Gauntlets and Drakeblood Leggins.

You will appear in the gorge and there will be a way up in front of you. Near the tree on the left, pick up Soul of a Weary Warrior. A little further you will be attacked by two snakeheads - they are not very strong, but if you miss the moment, they will perform a powerful lethal combo. Pay attention to the enemy with two blades. When he keeps them crossed, it means he's preparing to counterattack, knocking off your entire stamina bar.

Climb up the huge boulder and pick up the Lightning Gem. As soon as you go around the corner, the snakehead higher up the slope will start throwing fireballs at you. There will be another one standing a little higher. Be careful, as soon as you approach the nearest enemy, another one will rush at you from the right. Kill them and get ready to fight back the one that throws fireballs. To his right, between the columns, another warrior was hiding. Now that you're out of danger, go back down and pick up the Homeward Bone on the edge. To the right you will see an elevator, and around the corner, under the rock you climbed earlier, there will be a Titanite Chunk. Let's go back to the top of the hill, where the last two snakeheads were. Light the fire and take the Ember next to it. Go up the slope and pick up Soul of a Nameless Soldier on the right and Titanite Chunk on the left. Instead of going under the arch, turn left and go up the stairs. One enemy will lie in front of you, and the other will stand on the tower. Beware of the one armed with an axe, given that he can hit hard. Try to stab him in the back. Kill them both and pick up the Ancient Dragon Greatshield, go down the stairs and pick up the Titanite Chunk. Pull the lever and open the gate, to the left of the gate you can meet another enemy guarding the Lightning Clutch Ring. Enter the door and you will fight a boss.

Boss: Ancient Wyvern /Ancient Wyvern

Once among the ruins, you will see a huge dragon. Unlike other dragons encountered earlier, this one will not sit somewhere and occasionally shower the passage with fire. Instead, the winged monster will begin to attack you, trying to tear you to pieces with its sharp teeth, or fry you with a powerful stream of fire. Roll forward to find yourself under the massive carcass. Go up the stairs and turn left, where a snakehead will rush at you. Kill two more in the building you need to get to. Run past the fire-breathing snakehead that will be standing on the left and go up the stairs to your right. On the way, you will be attacked by several soldiers. At the very top, in addition to the enemy with the shield, there will be another one who has jumped out of ambush.

You need to run across a narrow bridge, first luring out the enemy standing on it. Run across the bridge and wait for the dragon to land on the ground. When he is directly below you, jump on his head and hit him - this way you will end the bossfight.

You will not receive souls for winning, but you will be given a Dragon Head Stone, with which you can move to another area of Archdragon Peak.

You will appear on the balcony with stunning views of the castle. The ringing of bells will be heard in the surrounding area. Find the nearest bonfire and enter the mausoleum. Another bell will ring and Drakeblood Knight will appear in front of you. Kill him like any other knight with a backstab. The bell that summoned him will summon even more knights unless you eliminate him. Go up the stairs and on the other side of the balcony you will see a snake-headed sorcerer. He will cast spells and whip you. Kill him, now there will be no one to call knights.

Note: note the dragon statue in the center of the room. On the ground floor opposite it there is an altar. Sit in front of him in Path of the Dragon pose and you will be given a Calamity Ring.

Before you leave the mausoleum, there are a few things left for you to do. Go up the stairs and take the Soul of a Crestfallen on the left. In front of the closed gate lies a Dragonslayer Spear. To the right of the gate there is a door you can enter. IN next moment you will find yourself in the middle of the balcony, run up to the edge where the sorcerer stood, there lies a Titanite Scale, and two snakeheads are sitting in ambush nearby. To the left of the sorcerer there is an elevator that will take you down to the entrance to the ruins. On the right there will be another door to the balcony, from where you can see the wooden platforms along which you ran during the fight with the wyvern. You will see a sphere with Titanite Scale. To the left you will notice a staircase that leads to a stone lizard, near which lies a Titanite Scale, and then there is a long path to the first floor, to the altar. The remaining door leads to the gate already seen.

Return to the arena where you fought the wyvern, there is a lot of useful stuff there that we didn’t have time to collect. Return to the wooden platforms, jump down and go up the stairs opposite, there will be 2 Twinkling Titanites at the top. Jump onto the arch from which you jumped earlier, the walkways suspended even lower will lead you back to the entrance to the ruins. In the center of the square in front of the bell lies a Large Soul of a Weary Warrior. Go to the right of the bell, there are three items there - pick up 2 Ember and 6 Stalk Dung Pie. Go around the corner and along the columns, go over the stairs and pick up the Ring of Steel Protection. Now cross the square with the bell and enter the first building you entered during the boss fight. Before entering the building, to the right there will be a Large Soul of a Nameless Soldier. To the left of the door there will be a ladder, and at the top there are 4 Lightning Urns. Enter the room with broken dome, pick up the Titanite Chunk from the edge, turn around and in the open window you will see a ladder. Go down and pick up 2 Twinkling Titanite.

Return to the roof, go up the steps, fight two regular ones and one large snakehead armed with an axe. Look at the balcony next to it, there are 12 Lightning Bolts on it, and in one of the niches you will find a Titanite Chunk.

Let's return to the mausoleum. Go around the locked gate and you'll end up on the path below. This path is patrolled by several snakeheads, one of which you will see in an alcove on the left as soon as you enter. At the very end of the hall there will be a room with two snakeheads hidden behind the columns. Try to bring them into the hall and kill them separately. If you look to the right before the entrance, you will see a snakehead standing on the platform below. After you leave the hall, a large snakehead with an ax will be waiting for you on the left in ambush. If you want, you can sneak to the stairs not far from him, climb them, and then jump on the enemy's head.

Run to the balcony and look for the stairs that will take you up to the bridge. There will be a Thunder Stoneplate Ring lying next to you. Continue along the bridge, reach the door on the other side and enter the large room and catch up with the crystal lizard, from which you can get 3 Twinkling Titanite. If you pay attention to the balcony where the lizard ran away, you can find a chest on it containing 3 Titanite Scale. Go outside and kill two stone lizards. They look like large crystal lizards, but with thick stone skin, they can curl up into a ball and roll around, destroying everything in their path. They often fall off ledges, so you can walk to the edge and try to lure them. Check the nook on the left, there lies the Soul of a Weary Warrior, high above your head you will see a dragon, which will soon turn around and make another approach to pour fire into the area. Wait until he flies into the air again, or run and jump at his feet. While he is flying, run to the nearest tower and go inside. Get ready to sweat, 4 stone lizards will roll at you at once. Run past them and into the ruins before the dragon grabs you.

You will find yourself in another mausoleum, at the end of which there will be a sorcerer. He will summon a half-naked warrior with a crown on his head and a rapier in his hands. Beware of hits from his alternate stance. Wait until he makes all his attacks and then hit him. Without good protection he won't last long. Kill him and get Ricard's Rapier, kill the sorcerer so that he does not resurrect his defender. On the right you will see a dilapidated wall that you can jump over, and right in front of you there will be a passage. Let's skip what's on the right and return there later. Go to path and you will see a couple of messages begging you not to hit the bell. Don't touch the lever for now and run to the fire.

Going down the stairs, you will emerge into a courtyard patrolled by snakeheads. One of them will stand at the other end and throw fireballs at you. Hide behind the ledges and kill the enemies. In the center of the courtyard lies a Large Soul of a Crestfallen Knight. Opposite there will be a path that we missed earlier. After passing along it, you will move to small balcony, where there is a stone lizard sitting around the corner, and behind it there is a chest with 3 Twinkling Titanite. In front of you will be a ladder that will lead you to the carcass of a dead dragon, next to which stands an armored knight with a dragon tooth as a club. With this club he is capable of inflicting colossal damage. Kill him and you will receive Havel's Greatshield and Dragon Tooth. You can remove the Titanite Slab from the corpse near the dragon. If you wear the Silvercat Ring, jump to the lower balcony and run to the corpse with the Great Magic Barrier scroll.

Note: if you return to the section of the bridge above Farron Keep where the huge white demon walked, you will find a corpse there with an armor set that includes Havel's Helm, Havel's Armor, Havel's Gauntlets and Havel's Leggins.

Return to the courtyard, if you go under the large bell, you will see a locked gate, near which you can find an Ember. To open them, you will need to ring the bell, but first let's examine one nook. The road leading to the top of the peak is replete with snake-headed enemies, including both ordinary warriors and large guards armed with axes. But in reality, everything is not as bad as it seems. Below from the fire you will find a sign calling Hawkwood. Follow him to the remains ancient dragon and use the Path of the Dragon gesture - you will be rewarded with a Twinkling Dragon Torso Stone. Returning from the top, go right and go down the stairs to encounter a stone lizard guarding Dragon Chaser's Ashes.

Note: If you return to Firelink Shrine, the blacksmith will tell you that Hawkwood stopped by to give you a message from Hawkwood Swordgrass. He seems to want to thank you for fighting the Abyss Watchers. If you defeat him, he will give you a Twinkling Dragon Head Stone.

Now all you have to do is ring the bell. Heavy clouds will approach the peak, and you will see a path of clouds along which you can go to a foggy curtain, behind which will be the boss Nameless King.

Boss: Nameless King /Nameless King

Once you are among the clouds, the Nameless King will appear on his steed, the Storm King. To fight the boss himself, you will first need to kill the huge feathered creature. Try to take as little damage as possible, since you will need the extra health for later stages of the fight.

Before going to the boss, get armor with good protection against electricity and other items that will improve it. Yellow Stoneplate Ring, Spirit Tree Crest Shield, Lothric Knight Shield or Dragonslayer Greatshield will come in handy. The best armor for this task is Faraam, Winged or Cathedral or Silver Knight, Undead Legion or Sorcerer Set. The Nameless King will constantly shoot bolts of electricity at you, so extra protection won't hurt.

Before launching an attack, the king will fly in a circle. Try to fix your sight on him, watch his actions and try to predict his further actions. If he raises one hand to create lightning, be prepared to jump away from the bolt flying at you. For other attacks, he will swing the spear behind his head, after which he will make a sharp lunge, accompanied by a shock wave. Sometimes he will create an explosion with fire, from which you will be protected by a shield or trying to run away.

Once he is on the ground, it will be more difficult for you to resist him, given the size of the monster and the inconvenient camera. Keep the rider and monster in sight. When the king raises his spear, it means he is preparing for a single or double strike, which may be accompanied by a swing from above. After he raises his spear and charges it with lightning, a second later he will release an electrical charge across a large area of the ground. At this moment, it will be almost impossible to dodge anywhere except in his direction.

His pet can also attack you. First, the creature will try to be on your right, after which it will release a stream of fire. If you have time, run up and hit the monster in the throat several times, or dodge the flames by rolling. Sometimes your blows will stun the creature and the rider, at which point you can perform a powerful combo.

After killing the monster, you will be left alone with the king. To be honest, you are in for a tough fight. Your enemy will begin to move at unimaginable speed. In one of the techniques, the enemy will rise into the air, point a spear at you, and then quickly rush at you. Dodge the blow, remembering to leave a reserve of strength in time to make a second somersault, otherwise you risk getting hit by the next blow.

Try to dodge blows to the right and left. Sometimes the enemy will jump behind you. When he raises his leg, run further away so as not to be influenced by the wave from his stomp.

His attacks will become even worse when he uses an alternative stance. Grasping the spear with both hands, he hits the ground with it. A powerful shock wave and electricity will radiate around from the spear. He will charge another attack by putting his spear forward - at this moment you can even manage to land a couple of blows on him. Just remember to immediately cover yourself with a shield, because the next moment lightning will strike the place where you stood.

From a distance, he will fire a spell at you with a dense wall of fog. If you don't run away and jump away, the spell will take a lot of your health.

If you remain patient and choose the right moments to strike, you will be able to defeat the boss. Remember that you can stun him with critical hits just like his monster.

By killing the Nameless King, you will dispel the storm and receive Soul of the Nameless King. After the gate goes up, you can pick up a Titanite Slab near the entrance. Go to the other side of the other gate and there you will find a set of armor, including Dragonslayer Helm, Dragonslayer Armor, Dragonslayer Gauntlets and Dragonslayer Leggings. You will also be able to pick up previously unavailable Dragonslayer Spear.

If you have completed all the other locations, all you have to do is return to the Firelink Shrine and prepare for the final battle.

Peak of the Ancient Dragons(Archdragon Peak) is one of the secret areas of the world that is not required to be visited and is not important for obtaining any ending of the game, as is the case with. Then the Nameless King will appear before the hero himself and will skillfully attack you with magic and sword and move very quickly across the battlefield. Distract him and hit him from behind.

Bosses are not essential to the game's plot and ending, but for the opportunity to become the Dragon himself are very important.
