How to make a beanbag chair at home. Favorite handmade children's chairs. How to sew a rectangular frameless bag with your own hands

In order to sew a chair bag you will need about 4.6 m of dense and lining fabric, 2 zippers no shorter than 56 cm, as well as polystyrene or other granules of at least 1.8 cubic meters.

Pear chair pattern, more precisely, one of the six segments of the bag is shown in the diagram, one with adult sizes, the other reduced in size for the convenience of the child. In order to simplify the calculations, you can use graph paper or other squared paper; on such material you can easily transfer the diagram only if the scale is observed.

When you wait at a bus stop, shift your weight from one foot to the other, toes on your heels, etc. Check which parts of your leg you maintain balance. Get a soft ball and try to stand on one leg. You can also test it on a variety of other balance training devices.

Close your eyes and stand on one leg. When you feel you have your balance, try to release, straighten and move your free leg. You can also ask your friend to sniff you unexpectedly sometimes. Look around and if you see someone who needs help, don't be shy and offer it.

As a result, the pattern for an adult chair will have the following dimensions: length 105 cm, maximum width 54 cm.

To create the top of the chair, fold the paper in half and then make a mark in the middle of the fold line. Next, you need to draw a circle with a radius of 14 cm.

Do you see a mess, something untidy? And it's useful, so do things right after others. Skip whatever you find. At home, create pillows and other soft objects on chairs and stools to see how high you can jump. The jump method chooses itself, but try to change it.

Climb up various items that you will find. Just be careful not to disturb others. When walking along the sidewalk, focus on your stride and try to make it as natural as possible. When you're at home, try hunting across your toes and toes. But follow very, very carefully!

To create a pattern for the base of the chair, as when creating a drawing for the top, you can use paper folded in half, but a circle should be drawn with a radius of at least 30.5 cm. Next, the resulting circle should be expanded and, stepping back 1.3 cm from the fold line, draw 1.3 cm parallel line. After which the circle is cut along this line, and the pattern of the base will be the smaller part of the circle.

If you're just walking on the sidewalk, jump and turn 360°. Try turning on both sides. Create conditions for various types activities. If you want to play on a computer, just make ten clicks. If you want to write a message on the forum, do ten squats. And so on. More the better.

When you are traveling by bus or car, imagine that you are running alongside - what would you do? When you play the game, when your character makes a move, try to imitate him - from a simple jump, through various tricks and dashes, bows. Trap only on selected tile types.

As a result of cutting you should have:
- six wedges made of fabric for the cover and the same number cut from lining fabric;
- one upper part from lining fabric and one from fabric for the cover;
- two parts of the base, cut from fabric for the cover, and also two from lining fabric.

Get down to four with a very low body. Try stars, loops and other similar gymnastics elements you know with your eyes closed. After each blade, immediately jump as high as possible. Move around the house without legs. Climb up the tree and try to move to another one.

When you go somewhere and see two walls close enough, try to climb up. Perhaps leaning against one wall with your hands and the other feet. Or so that one leg and one arm rest with one leg and one arm on the other. Be nice to all of you, even if you are not in the mood.

How to sew a chair bag- the answer to this question is quite simple! First, you need to sew the base parts together, and insert a zipper between the two base parts. Next, you should connect the side wedges together with the right sides inward. When all the parts are connected to each other, the product must be ironed, not forgetting to carefully smooth the seams. After which the bag can be filled with polystyrene or other granules.

While driving, try to get out and catch up to the next stop. When you walk around the apartment, try to move smoothly and quietly and at the same time take the least useless steps. Don't let go of training in the Vault and don't jump, but hold on. Try to shift your weight and walk on the inside or outside of your feet.

How to make an upholstered chair with your own hands?

Try to be attentive every second you do something, even if it's ordinary thing like washing dishes. Just focus on each action fully and don't let your mind wander. Stop by late at the bus stop and run it to get it.

There you have it, a beautiful hand-sewn pear-bag chair!

Happy sewing!

Furniture can be different: upholstered and framed, beautiful and comfortable, necessary and loved, white and red... And sometimes also frameless. We first saw cool, unusual chairs in the Comedy Clab program. Previously, such baggy furniture did not catch the eye. But thanks to the popular TV show, everyone became envious and urgently wanted the same ones for themselves!

Think of a movement that is required for you and try to imagine it, break it down and explain it as if you were trying to teach someone a movement. Try to imagine that someone is teaching you a technique. Open the door with one foot. Put on a tennis shooter and squeeze it with the fingers of each hand a hundred times a day. When you feel strong enough, try and squeeze it.

Try sleeping differently in bed than you are used to. Draw every movement of the parrot you can think of, one window after another, like a comic strip. If you want to overcome any obstacle, try it as a whole - the most in an efficient way, but without using the known methods described.

By now I have sewn quite a few of these bags myself. And then we looked everywhere, where possible, for at least one, to rip it open, and see what was inside there after all! A real odyssey about twelve chairs! We filled the cases that we designed ourselves with everything! Sintepon, pieces of foam rubber, wool... everything was wrong! It seems to be soft, but this characteristic elastic and lively effect is not there!

Before you start training anywhere, sit down and take a good look at it. Anything that is easy to jump over. If it's too small or too low, lift it up and underneath it. You can do this with chairs, table, stool, etc. Put your weight on your feet and walk with it normally.

At each door, you walk, stop, and for a few seconds try to press as hard as possible with both hands on the door frame. Get your vest and nose on for the day. Or you can put some weight in your backpack, like a water bottle, that you can drink from constantly to keep you hydrated.

A whole year passed until it was no coincidence that friends who came from Italy discovered such a chair. It was so beautiful, huge and silver that my hand couldn’t raise it to cut it. Yes, this was not necessary. The cover, it turns out, has a zipper. And inside there is another case. And in that case there are tiny peas. What would you think, of course, foam! Darkness and darkness of cute white balls. Who would have guessed that they simply have an unbearable character? But more on that later.

Fabric for frameless furniture

When you are at home, wherever you go, move as if the ceiling were only a meter away. Substitute, go to four or Duck. Try different heights and different methods movement. Take the stairs instead of just walking. Try one step, two, three.

When you go from room to room, every time you enter, float up and touch the ceiling, press the tips and try to make it as quiet as possible. If you want to blow plastic bottle, squeeze it in your hand rather than insert it.

When you ride in a car, keep wallets around you in addition to your wallet. When you ride in a car, don't do anything to try to balance your legs. Always keep the barbell close to your hand and be careful when braking suddenly.

DIY frameless furniture is incredibly convenient, comfortable and beautiful. After sitting and lying on such a chair, we can greatly relax our back, and our entire body. Children and animals simply adore these stunning chairs. And it all started with a curiosity. And, of course, in the birthplace of design - Italy. In the sixties of the twentieth century, young designers Cesare Paolini, Franco Teodoro and Piero Gatti came up with a punk movement called “Anti-design”.

When you sit, try to sit up straight. Dry your hands and edges first so that it doesn't slip away. Place different items on the floor of the room and walk in such a way that you do not touch them. In the evening before you go to bed, but clean it all out. An improvement on the previous point is to do it higher at night, if possible, in partial or complete darkness. Just go into the house at night without turning on the lights. In the morning, clean all disassembled items again.

Train and stretch your facial muscles. Look at yourself in the mirror and try different faces and expressions. If you are sitting somewhere and not using your arms, extend them over your shoulders and hold them as long as possible. When you start to feel pain, hold your fists or stretch your fingers as much as possible and so on. Just hold on and try to overcome the pain for at least a few seconds.

The guys created absolutely crazy furniture. Including chairs without frames. Colored water was poured into bags made of transparent PVC fabric. These works resembled huge bags of kefir. Such furniture at design exhibitions looked very scandalous, of course. But I just looked. It was impossible to operate it. The water itself is very heavy, and the fabric simply tore under its weight.

The procedure for making a small bean bag chair

Every time you want to drink, hold the cup in front of you at arm's length, count to twenty, then take the container from the other side, repeat the exercise, and then just drink. If you want to sit down at your computer and play games or watch TV, try doing something else.

Choosing the right office chairs

Will you spend most of your time in the office or at home using your computer? When using this machine to work, study or play games, you may unknowingly injure yourself. Are you tired, tired and sore in some parts of your body after working on the computer for a long time? This is the first sign that something is wrong. For the first time, it may not be appropriate to see the obscure details of what it is. incorrect grip, body retention, keyboard position.

But Italy is the birthplace not only of artists, but also of adventurers. Industrialist Aurelio Zanotta had business sense. He liked the crazy idea, and after thinking about it, he made his own changes, which made the bags practical chairs. Aurelio replaced PVC with durable fabric, and water with polyvinyl chloride foam balls. And already in 1968, his newly founded company “Zanotta” launched bright pink drop bags, weightless and incredibly comfortable.

And it's these details that really matter. Bad sedation can cause pain in certain areas of our body or even damage them. Usually he starts hitting the table, which we know very well. You need to do something if you don't want to be in trouble for the rest of your life.

Summary of the most important part of an office chair

Experts agree that we can focus on a healthy computer session for long periods of time, improving circulation and reducing stress. Stability is guaranteed by the five-wheel cushion, allowing for greater customization options. Bedside table for the lower back. The material from which it is made. A comfortable seat is guaranteed by a seat and plug with sufficient filling. Adjustable height with gas blade - nowadays of course.

  • Comfortable seat and comfortable adjustable seat height.
  • Safe basic chair.
  • Adjustable handles and headrests.
  • Anatomical backrest - should be adjustable in both directions.
The right chair will serve you for many years.

Сonfortevole da morire, as the Italians like to say, “deadly comfortable.” These chairs were called “Sacco” - a bag. Incredible pink bags immediately won many awards at exhibitions, the largest museums in the world such as MoMA, Metropolitan, and many others. The brilliant Aurelio became rich, and the Zanotta factory still produces frameless furniture, which sells all over the world with a bang. Like all the other beautiful furniture they produce. By the way, the world’s first inflatable chair “Blow” was also born at this factory.

Your investment will return to you with beneficial effects on your health. Problems and pains will disappear and good mood will help you overcome all the ailments of the day. Upholstery is a rather complex craft, but more simple methods furniture coverings can also be treated with my own hands. You can revive retired pieces of furniture or make your own.

Chair assembly process

For more upholstered furniture reconstruction of fabric coverings and padding is a relatively complex problem, usually requiring a professional craftsman. A complete makeover of a chair or sofa usually means having to disassemble the furniture, remove straps and handles, secure the base, and replace the foam and all covers. Therefore, in many cases, the required repairs do not even pay for themselves, and it is always necessary to evaluate in advance the difference between the cost of reconstruction and the purchase of new furniture.

In 2008, the Zanotta factory celebrated its fortieth anniversary. For the holiday, they released a collection of Saccos, hand-painted by famous artists and designers. She was destined trip around the world and then sold at auction. The French channel Arte made a whole film dedicated to ageless bags. These are the consequences of the friendship of three young designers! By the way, I never found out what their further fate was.

Sometimes, by using the right upholstery, you can get more value from refurbished furniture than buying new. It doesn't have to be antique, just refinish furniture that has solid wood construction. Chair or stroller upholstery or lighter chairs are no longer demanding and can often be mastered through self-help. Sometimes home upholstery doesn't require special tools, but if you want to equip at least the basic tools, it is not a problem to get them from specialized electronic stores, and sometimes they will also be available for sale in various online stores and brick and mortar stores.

So wonderful bright mattresses carry within them the energy of blossoming and breakthrough. Why don't we have these? The original costs about 600 euros. Native Ukrainian fake - more than a thousand hryvnia. But wait! Italians are not all so brilliant and handy. For the most part, they do not like to tinker with anything (let alone, by the way, repair and repair) with their own hands. They prefer to earn and buy. Otherwise the world would be overpopulated with Mikkelangelos and Leonard Davincis.

For a complete start, you can do this with scissors, a sharp knife and a hammer. It's even better to use a blade knife or a dedicated craft knife attachment, and the job of attaching the tires will make the stapler much easier. In addition to upholstery materials Upholstery also requires padding to ensure comfortable placement on a soft base. For example, you can use cotton wool, felt or polystyrene foam with the most soft work and is easily found in craft stores, home textile stores, and some hobby stores.

The foam also covers a layer of cotton wool on top, which can also be purchased at craft or fabric stores. There is also a special upholstery cover that is sold in rolls of up to metres. Reupholstery usually involves a complete renovation of a piece of furniture. It is always advisable to fix any defects in the design of the chair, stool or bench that you intend to improve with a new cover. In this case, leave the enamel until the end and begin, for example, removing the cleared varnish and suppressing or strengthening the structure, which may include repairing joinery joints or tightening bolts and screws.

But we are different! We were given golden hands from birth! Our craftswomen figured out a long time ago how to make such charming furniture at home. Of all the tools you need only sewing machine. Don't need any hammers, drills, any outside help. You can easily build one chair in one evening. After a week of work, DIY frameless furniture will be a wonderful gift for all relatives and friends.

Now we will decide on the model and get started. To date, such models frameless furniture :

This beauty also varies in size: for adults and children, larger and smaller. But there are no strict standards. The sewing principle is the same for everyone. The only difference is in the pattern of the model.

Components of furniture

So, any frameless chair consists of two covers: internal and external. Both are zippered. Outer case maybe made of eco-leather (a word promoted by advertising, in fact it is ordinary furniture dermantine). This surface is easy to clean and always looks bright and elegant. But sitting on it in the summer with bare legs means sticking. You can also use any fabric, preferably furniture fabric - they are much stronger. For example, fleece, you can use raincoat fabric, cotton fabric, any light and durable one. WITH natural fabric The body feels better, but it wears out faster. In general, think, in the end, sew new case instead of worn-out - no problem.

Inner case can be sewn from furniture non-woven fabric or simple lining fabric. It is the same in shape as the outer one. AND filling- balls of polyvinyl chloride, that is, polystyrene foam.

Foam granules are very harmful. It’s impossible to put them in a ready-made case! According to the law of static electricity, the balls fly upward, then to the sides, and finally stick to everything. A very beautiful sight, but I don’t recommend repeating it. For the rest of your life you will be picking out nasty granules from all sorts of places. I have developed two methods for pushing harmful balls inside the case.

First: sew a long zipper, for example a meter, into the inner case. Then you can push the whole bag into it, cut it inside, and take it out, but the balls will remain inside. Second: make a large paper funnel and pour the crumbs through it. Then there is no need for a long zipper. Paper also removes static electricity.

Previously, this miracle could only be bought in construction stores in large bags. Now that frameless furniture is mass-produced, there are special granules packaged in 100-liter containers. They cost from fifty hryvnia - according to the seller’s conscience. Don't let the volume scare you - the bag is almost weightless.

Types of frameless furniture

We start with the simplest patterns. First, let's make pillow. It looks like a triangular pyramid. Classic proportions of triangles: base - 110 cm, sides - 80 cm. But you can change the sizes without changing the proportions, to your liking. We cut it out, placing the parts on the fabric in the same way as in the photo.

Allow seam allowances of one and a half centimeters on each side. Sew the sides of the pyramid together. We process the sections with an overlocker if the fabric is loose. After sewing on the triangle that forms the base of the pyramid, we sew in a zipper. It is better to do this along the entire 100cm long edge.

We sew the outer cover in the same way. We stuff a bag of balls into the inner case and release them, filling the case two-thirds full. They need room to move so they can take shape when the chair is sat on. We take out the empty bag and fasten the zipper. We push the inner one into the outer one and fasten it. That's it, ready!

Armchair-pear consists of six wedges, a round bottom (bottom part 1 and 2, two parts each), and an upper hexagonal part. It is sewn exactly the same way as a pillow. the classic is also no less interesting. We cut out two side parts.

Pattern for mat chairs not needed at all. We sew two rectangles, width 120 cm, height 180 cm, don’t forget about the zippers. That's the whole case. Don’t forget that you don’t need to fill the case with balls to capacity, but only two-thirds full. Patterns flower chairs I don’t have one, I didn’t have to sew. But there is a picture that shows you how to sew. In fact, the entire flower is made of squares.

And finally, I’ll say, if you have adopted frameless furniture with your own hands, don’t throw away the remains of harmful balls. Over time, after about a year of daily use, the balls will shrink and become smaller in volume.

Then you will need to fill them up to the required volume. And that’s exactly what you have required quantity leftover!

I’ll also say this for those who love a particularly healthy lifestyle. I have never heard anyone complain about allergic reactions to frameless furniture. It is even very environmentally friendly.

Enjoy your holiday in chairs that take the shape of your body, chairs that know how to love, chairs born in the most beautiful country in the world!

Every day designers come up with unusual furniture, sometimes practical, and sometimes not so much. It looks beautiful, but not everyone can afford it. Round egg chairs were invented a long time ago, but they still haven’t gone out of fashion thanks to an interesting appearance, practicality and convenience. Let's try to create such an unusual chair with our own hands.

First, let's do a little round chair that is suitable for a child or for a pet. If you are confident in your skill, you can immediately make a large egg chair that an adult can fit into.

Materials:

  • large fitness ball
  • newspapers
  • plastic pipe
  • threaded rod with a diameter of 16 mm
  • several nuts for the stud
  • cap nut
  • putty
  • sandpaper
  • 6 cans of white matte paint
  • 2 cans of white epoxy paint
  • foam rubber 4 cm thick
  • red fabric
  • 1 can of spray adhesive
  • roulette

How to make a round chair with your own hands

Papier-mâché

1. Take a large fitness ball. It is advisable to take an unnecessary ball, since after the project you will have to throw it away.

2. Place tape around the ball to define the boundaries of the paper mache. The adhesive tape needs to be glued slightly offset from the central section line.

3. Tear strips from newspapers. The width of the strips is about 4 cm. The stripes do not have to be identical, even and neat. The main thing is not to make them too wide, so that when pasting they do not wrinkle.

4. Prepare papier-mâché paste. Mix two glasses of water with a glass of flour and add a pinch of salt. Salt is needed to prevent mold from appearing in the flour. The consistency of the paste should resemble yogurt. Do not make a lot of paste at once; it needs to be prepared as you use it.

5. Place the exercise ball in a large bowl to keep it from rolling around the room while you glue the paper on it.

6. Apply paste to both sides of each strip and glue them onto the ball parallel to each other. On top of them, glue another layer of strips perpendicular to the first.

7. Once you have covered the entire ball (down to the tape) with two layers of paper strips, let it dry for 12 hours. Repeat step 6 at least five times (if the chair is intended for an animal). Ideally, you should apply at least 10 double layers of papier-mâché. After each layer you need to leave the product to dry for 12 hours.

Egg chair base

1. Cut a circle from MDF. The diameter of the base depends on the size of the chair. We cut a circle with a diameter of 40 cm.

2. Drill a hole in the center of the circle. The diameter of the hole must match the size of the nut. Insert the nut into the hole and screw the threaded rod into it.

3. Install on base plastic pipe. By changing the length of the pipe, you can adjust the height of the chair.

4. Using tape and newspapers, make a smooth transition from the base to the pipe.

5. Cover the resulting shape with papier-mâché.

putty

The chair takes shape. On at this stage You may be tempted to pull the ball out to see the result, but you should never do this. First you need to apply putty to the surface.

1. Put on gloves and evenly apply putty to the surface of the chair and legs. The layer thickness should be approximately 5 mm. Let the putty dry overnight.

2. Pull out the ball. To do this you will have to deflate it. Now you can apply putty to inner surface. The inner layer can be much thicker than the outer one. Don't worry if the putty is outside will begin to crack. Leave the chair to dry for a day.

Grinding

1. Start sanding with coarse sandpaper. There is no need to sand the inner surface, as it will not be visible under the upholstery. During grinding, voids may open up, do not pay attention to them, your task is to achieve the correct smooth shape. You will fill in the blanks later.

2. Fill the voids with putty and let it dry.

3. Sand the surface of the chair and legs with fine sandpaper.

Painting

1. Cover the chair with white paint. It is advisable to use matte paint in cans. Apply as many words of paint as you deem necessary.

2. The paint must dry within 24 hours.

3. Apply epoxy paint. It will fix white paint, will give the product gloss.

4. Give the paint time to dry.

Leg installation

1. Drill through hole in the chair where you want to install the leg. The diameter of the hole must match the diameter of the threaded rod.

2. Place the base with the threaded rod on the chair, mark where the rod needs to be sawed off.

3. Saw off the stud until the right size. Secure the leg to the chair.

Installation of foam rubber

1. Take a tape measure and measure the circumference of the “opening” of the chair. Divide the resulting length by 5. Place the resulting length on a strip of foam rubber five times. Using the points set aside, construct five isosceles triangles. The height of the triangles is 1 meter.

2. Cut out triangles and place them inside the chair. Their tops should touch. Spaces in the form of petals are formed between the triangles. Take a piece of paper and transfer the outline of the space onto it.

3. Using the template, cut out five “petals” from foam rubber.

4. Sew the “petals” to the triangles, as a result you will get spherical foam upholstery.

5. Although it sounds strange, this workpiece needs to be cut into five parts. The cuts should go along the axes of the “petals”.

Upholstery

1. Lay out the five foam blanks obtained in the previous step on a bright fabric. Outline them, then mark the outer contours, leaving 5 centimeters of margin. Cut the fabric according to the markings.

2. Make sure that the foam is laid out correctly. The seams on the foam should be on the reverse side.

3. Apply glue to the edge of the foam rubber and glue the fabric upholstery.

4. Apply glue to the top half of the foam and glue the fabric. Apply glue to the remaining part, apply and smooth the upholstery. The glue should be applied not to the fabric, but to the foam rubber, otherwise white spots will remain on the upholstery.

5. Turn the blanks over with the foam rubber facing up. Apply glue to the seam allowances and fold the fabric. Try to keep the edges smooth and without wrinkles.

Fabric frill

1. Apply glue to the inside of the chair. Lay the foam blanks, starting from the bottom.

2. Measure the circumference of the chair opening. Cut the rope to the appropriate length.

3. Cut a strip of fabric and wrap it around the rope as tightly as possible.

4. Sew the edges of the fabric strip.

5. Trim excess fabric. Glue the frill around the perimeter of the opening so that the seam is not visible.

The egg chair is ready! Use it with pleasure and surprise your guests.
