In crafts from coffee beans, as in everything you do yourself, there is a piece of your soul and the warmth of your hands.

This is the coffee candle we will make

Required material:

Paraffin candles (one large candle takes 4 regular candles, which are sold in a hardware store, the price of one is 8.5 rubles)

Coffee beans

Cotton thread for wick

Various boxes for candle shapes

For aroma vanillin or flavored oils

Wax crayons

For ribbon decoration, jute twine

Wooden skewers

Iron ladle and olive jar

Step-by-step candle making:

1. Cut the juice box to a height of 12 cm, and twist the thread for the wick into two folds or crochet a chain. You can just take the one we take out of the broken candle.

2. Prepare paraffin.

To do this, you need to cover the table and prepare disposable napkins in case you suddenly have paraffin dripping somewhere.

We cut the candles and remove the wicks from them.

Then cut into smaller pieces (two and a half candles for the first portion with coffee beans, the rest for the second portion, which we will paint with wax crayons)

3. Prepare the mold for the candle.

In the bottom of the boxes, exactly in the middle, we make punctures for the wick with an awl. Lubricate internal surfaces boxes vegetable oil so that the finished candle can be removed without problems.

We thread the wick into the hole in the mold, tie a knot on the outside, securing the wick with tape, and at the same time protecting the paraffin from leaking out of the mold.

4. Pour coffee beans into the gap between the two boxes and hold the box tightly in the middle.

5. Pour paraffin into tin can and put it on water bath, over low heat, do not let the paraffin boil, stir with a skewer. Add a pinch of vanillin for flavor. (I flattened the jar a little with pliers to make it easier to pour liquid paraffin)

Today there are many interior decorations. Everyone knows that candles can add that unique touch of coziness to any room. And the warmth of a living flame will warm anyone on warm winter evenings.
Not a single guest can ignore such an original product that was made with my own hands. On the eve of the holiday you can decorate your home. This will be an amazing decoration for the room.
To make one like this original craft with your own hands, you need to purchase 3 candles, coffee beans and a pack of small juice. Choose a juice box whose shape you like, since the future candle will harden in this cardboard box.
Don't get too hung up on which candles to buy for. As a result, the product will be decorated with coffee beans. Therefore, it is better to stock up on ordinary white candles, which are inexpensive, about 15 rubles apiece.

The craft will harden in this cardboard juice box. As a result, it will have a rectangular shape.

1. We begin to prepare the mold
First you need to prepare a box in which the candle will harden. To do this, you need to cut the juice packaging, as shown in the photo.

2.Working with candle material
Two candles must be grated on a coarse grater. In addition, you can chop it with a knife, whichever is more convenient for you. The main task is to grind the candle.

Never throw away the wick. It will be useful for a new craft.
3.Paraffin heating
Once the paraffin has been crushed, it must be heated. This should only be done using a water bath. To do this, you need to preheat large saucepan with water. When it boils, place a bowl of paraffin on top of the water. In fact, you don’t need to pay special attention to how the material melts; it won’t burn in any case. This process will take approximately 5 minutes.

4.Continue to prepare the form
While the paraffin is melting in a water bath, you can continue preparing rectangular shape for a candle.
Take a wick and a simple pencil or pen. Wind the rope as shown in the photo. The wick must be in the center, there is no need to tie anything.

It should reach the bottom edge of the cardboard box.

5.Filling
Meanwhile, the paraffin has completely melted. It became transparent, a little thicker than water.

Carefully remove the bowl and pour the liquid into the box.

Please note that the cardboard form does not need to be lubricated with anything beforehand.
Then we put the craft away for about two hours in a cool place. In a warm place, paraffin will harden longer.
6.Formation of a candle
Once the paraffin has completely hardened, you need to remove the finished candle from the mold. To do this, we will use a stationery knife. Carefully cut the cardboard from top to bottom on one side. In fact, detaching the craft from the mold is not difficult. Unfortunately, the box in which the product was made will not be suitable for the next use.

7.Craft decoration
Grate the remaining candle. And melt it again in a water bath. Now you can start designing your product using coffee.

Materials
household candles
coffee beans
thick cotton thread for the wick
shape (beer can)
scotch
scissors
small saucepan

Manufacturing method:
I bought regular household candles at the store. Melted paraffin candles in a water bath.

I prepared the form. I took a 1L beer can. Having punched a hole in the bottom of the jar, I secured the wick with tape (I took the wick from a household candle). At the top, I tied the wick to a ruler and placed the ruler in the slot on the edges of the jar. (photo 2;3)

I removed the wick threads from the melted paraffin. I poured ground coffee into it and simmered it in a water bath for 10-15 minutes (the aroma was amazing in the kitchen).

I poured our paraffin into the mold (pre-place the mold in cold water). I don’t pour out all the paraffin, I reserve it for gravy and decorations. As the paraffin cools, I add it to the formed depressions. Leave the form with our candle in cold water until completely hardened.

Carefully remove the form. If it is difficult to remove, then outside pour over the mold hot water. In order for the bottom of the candle to be even, I melt it all in the same saucepan (I place the bottom of the candle on the bottom of the saucepan).
