Many children love playing with slime - simple fun for any age. Lizun toys became popular after the release of a cartoon about the adventures of ghostbusters, one of the characters of which was Lizun - constantly changing shape, spreading and stretching strange creature. Another name for this toy is handgam. Today we will learn how to make slime at home

Slime is great fun for children

Slime is not only great entertainment for children, but also helps relieve stress and has a beneficial effect on nervous system, helps develop small hand muscles and motor skills. The toy has a gel-like consistency, does not melt and can take the most bizarre shapes. You can buy slime at any children's toy store, but making it yourself or with the help of a child at home is not difficult. Making slime will not take much time and will not require the availability or purchase of expensive materials and tools. Let's consider affordable and not so complex options creating this interesting toy.

How to make slime at home

If there are children in the house, there will definitely be plasticine. Use it to make a popular toy - the result will be impressive!

  • plasticine - 1 pack:
  • food gelatin - 1 pack;
  • spatula (spoon) for mixing components;
  • container (bowl, jar) for mixing;
  • iron container for heating gelatin.

Cooking method:

  1. Pour gelatin into an iron container and pour it cold water. Mix thoroughly and leave for an hour. After the specified time has elapsed, heat the soaked gelatin, bring to a boil and quickly remove the dishes from the stove.
  2. We take a mixing container (it is better if it is plastic) and, using a spatula, knead the soft plasticine (100 g) with water (50 ml) very well.
  3. Carefully pour the prepared gelatin into the resulting plasticine mixture and mix with a spatula until a homogeneous, plastic mass is formed.
  4. Place the container with the resulting mass in the refrigerator and wait until it hardens completely.
  5. Take it out of the refrigerator and use it for its intended purpose!

This method is a godsend for those parents who, when choosing toys, first of all put in the first place maximum safety and complete environmental friendliness of materials for production. This option is also ideal for the little ones who like to play with slime.

Required materials and tools:

  • warm water;
  • starch (potato or any other);
  • container for mixing components.

Cooking method:

  1. Place warm water and prepared starch in equal proportions into the prepared container.
  2. If we want to get a multi-colored toy, we add a small amount of food coloring, brilliant green, a solution of potassium permanganate or other coloring substances that are safe for children.
  3. Knead the mass thoroughly until it becomes plastic and elastic. It is better to knead with gloves to prevent staining of your hands.

This slime will stick perfectly to any type of surface, but it also has a drawback - it is not able to bounce and spring. So before making it, it is better to ask the future user whether he will be satisfied with the characteristics and capabilities of an environmentally friendly slime made from starch.

Has your home recently been renovated and is there any leftover construction adhesive? Using available components, we’ll turn them into a toy for kids!

Required materials and tools:

  • shampoo;
  • construction adhesive (“Titanium”, “Ecolux” or other);
  • food coloring;
  • thick plastic bag;
  • container for mixing components (plastic bowl):
  • spatula or mixing stick.

Cooking method:

  1. Pour a small amount of shampoo into the prepared container.
  2. Pour construction glue into the shampoo - there should be more of it than shampoo.
  3. Add a drop of food coloring (if you need a rich color, you will need more coloring).
  4. Mix all ingredients thoroughly using a plastic spatula or stick.
  5. Pour the mixture into a plastic bag.
  6. Thoroughly knead the mass in the bag so that it is evenly colored and turns into a plastic substance.
  7. We take the slime out of the bag and can immediately play with it!

The toy prepared this way should be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator. After playing with slime made from shampoo and glue, the child should wash his hands well.

This method will require the purchase of special ingredients. But, believe me, the result is worth it!

Required materials and tools:

  • any food coloring, brilliant green, iodine, gouache paints;
  • PVA glue, always fresh, in quantity - 100 g;
  • Borax solution (4%) or borax (sodium tetraborate) - these components can be purchased at the pharmacy, specialized stores for the sale of chemical reagents.
  • water;
  • jar or glass;
  • polyethylene bag for kneading.

Cooking method:

  1. Take water at room temperature (about 1/4 cup).
  2. Slowly pour the PVA glue into the container with water, stirring gently. If you need a more elastic slime, then use a little more glue.
  3. Now it's time to add sodium tetraborate - if using a solution, then one bottle is enough. First dilute the powder in water at the rate of: a tablespoon of borax per 100 ml (half a glass) of water.
  4. Constantly stirring the mixture, carefully add the dye.
  5. Transfer the resulting mass with dye into a bag and knead well until it turns into a slime of the proper consistency.

Slime prepared using this method is practically no different from a store-bought toy.

Every housewife has baking soda in her kitchen, so why not use it to make slime? Just a few additional ingredients - and an original toy for a child is ready! The only drawback of such a slime is its fragility; a soda toy will last only a few days.

Required materials and tools:

  • baking soda - a heaping tablespoon;
  • PVA glue - 50g;
  • warm water - 1/2 cup;
  • food coloring - a few drops;
  • spatula for mixing components;
  • plastic containers - 2 pcs;
  • latex gloves.

Cooking method:

  1. IN plastic container dilute PVA glue (50 g) in warm water(1/4 cup).
  2. Add a few drops of dye to the glue water.

  4. Slowly pour the soda solution into the water-glue mixture, stirring constantly until the mass thickens.
  5. Mix the resulting substance thoroughly - this is slime!

To prepare such a slime you will need liquid washing powder; replacing it with dry powder is not recommended.

Required materials and tools:

  • washing powder (liquid);
  • PVA glue;
  • dyes;
  • rubber gloves;
  • bowl for preparing the mixture of ingredients.

Cooking method:

  1. Pour glue into the bowl (you will need about a quarter cup).
  2. Add a few drops of dye and mix well.
  3. Now pour liquid laundry detergent into the glue and dye - about 2 tablespoons, stirring constantly.
  4. Put on gloves and continue kneading the mixture with your hands (like dough). The consistency of the kneaded mass should be similar to soft rubber, stretch well and take different shapes.

Don't have any starch in the house? No problem! It can be completely replaced by regular flour - be sure to sift it before using it so that you don’t get any lumps that could spoil the slime.

Required materials and tools:

  • water (hot and cold);
  • any food coloring;
  • flour (type does not matter) - about 2 full glasses;
  • utensils for preparing a mixture of components;
  • spatula or spoon.

Cooking method:

  1. Sift the flour through a fine sieve into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add cold water(1/4 cup), mix well.
  3. Add 1/4 cup hot water (not boiling water!).
  4. Stir the mixture until it thickens.
  5. If desired, add dye.
  6. Place the mixture in the refrigerator, where it will remain for 2 hours.

When the specified time has passed, take it out of the refrigerator and give it to the kids to tear to pieces - they will appreciate the quality and functionality of the resulting toy!

A toy prepared according to this recipe will resemble a jumper more than a slime, since its consistency is much denser.

Required materials and tools:

  • hydrogen peroxide (regular pharmacy);
  • water - 100 g;
  • PVA glue - 100 g;
  • soda or starch - 100 g;
  • container for mixing ingredients;
  • spatula.

Cooking method

  1. Mix starch or soda with water in a prepared container.
  2. Pour in PVA glue and mix, after adding the dye.
  3. Add a little hydrogen peroxide - the mass will become light and airy.
  4. Continue kneading until smooth and stiff.

To prepare this slime you will need a special alcohol - polyvinyl alcohol. Under no circumstances should you replace it with medical alcohol or vodka! This recipe also contains the already familiar sodium tetraborate.

Required materials and tools:

  • powdered polyvinyl alcohol;
  • water;
  • sodium tetraborate;
  • container for mixing components;
  • spatula

Cooking method:

  1. Dilute powdered polyvinyl alcohol with water according to the instructions, cook over low heat for about 40 minutes. The mixture should be stirred constantly to prevent burning.
  2. Mix sodium tetraborate (two tablespoons) with one glass of water until completely dissolved.
  3. Strain the resulting sodium tetraborate solution and slowly pour it into the polyvinyl alcohol.
  4. If necessary, add dye and knead the resulting mass thoroughly.

Do you want to surprise your children by preparing them a slime that glows? dark room, and is also attracted by a magnet? Get started!
Required materials and tools:

  • iron oxide;
  • sodium tetraborate
  • plain water;
  • phosphorus paint or dye;
  • PVA glue;
  • magnets (neodymium),
  • utensils for preparing the mass.

Cooking method:

  1. Dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of sodium tetraborate in a glass of water.
  2. In a prepared container, mix PVA glue (30 g) and 1/2 cup of water. Add phosphorus paint to this mixture (it is what provides the glow in the dark) or regular dye to add color.
  3. Pour the sodium tetraborate solution into the water-glue mixture in a thin stream, constantly stirring the mixture to the desired consistency. As soon as the required mass density is reached, stop adding the solution.
  4. The slime is already ready, now you need to make sure that it is attracted by a magnet. To do this, level the mixture and sprinkle with a small amount of iron oxide powder. Knead well so that the powder is evenly distributed throughout the entire mass.

Lizun is ready!

  1. Try to choose the ideal consistency of the mixture you create, focusing on your own feelings. A properly made slime is one continuous clot, a homogeneous mass, moderately viscous and sticky.
  2. If you feel that the mass does not meet expectations, add the component necessary to correct the situation in larger quantities. If the mass is liquid, you should add dry ingredients; if, on the contrary, it is thick, then dilute the mixture with water or glue.
  3. To give the slime a more original appearance, you can add glitter and pearlescent powder dyes to the prepared mass.
  4. Prepared slimes should be stored in a tightly sealed container, placing it in the refrigerator.
  5. It is necessary to warn children that they should not lick licks or bite them, no matter how much they want to do so.
  6. Before playing with slimes and after, you should wash your hands well.

Be sure to try making slime at home with your children. Bright, original handgam is great fun for the whole family! Have fun and have a good time with the kids!

Good afternoon friends! Today I have an unusual topic for you, and this topic will be dedicated to an original toy called slime. Are you surprised or happy? I know that many of my subscribers have small children, and older children, who are captivated by such creations and are constantly drawn to something unusual, like a sticky and at the same time cool weirdo.

Of course, in stores and supermarkets in the toy departments now there is nothing but this rather unique souvenir toy. To be honest, I don’t really like this charm, but it’s unclear where to buy it, especially since now everything is mostly produced in China, it’s somehow dangerous and raises all sorts of doubts, so I suggest you make such funny and amusing Velcro yourself at home.

By the way, this toy is called slime. Have you ever made it yourself with your own hands? I think probably yes, since you are reading this article, let’s figure it out and learn from this work of art))).

I really liked the very last recipe, which I recommend everyone to make. The pictures and photos in this note are taken from a free Internet source, and the videos are from the YouTube channel. If you want to see your inventions here, write your reviews and suggestions below under this note.

If you have a lot of free time, then of course you can make a lot of slimes in different colors and different shapes, and then organize all kinds of tournaments with your friends.

Incredibly, this recipe is quite interesting and uses only 2 main ingredients. Can you imagine?! I suggest that those who have never made these beauties start with this simple option, because the ingredients used in this form can be found in any home or apartment.

If you start searching and reading information about how to make a real licker, you will definitely come across the fact that the most common option is from sodium tetraborate, but you must admit that it is not always at hand, so you can make it using another method, using targets ordinary water.

We will need:

  • hot water - 0.5 tbsp.
  • salt - 3 tsp
  • dye - a pinch or without it
  • stationery glue - 1.5 tbsp

Stages of work:

1. Take any container for work, for example, you can use a disposable container. Pour it in hot water, then add salt.

2. Stir the liquid thoroughly, the result is salt water, what now? Now you have to add some dye or dye.

3. After this, you have to cool the water, let it stand aside and cool down. And then you take the craft glue and pour it into the liquid.

Important! Now leave this mixture for 20 minutes, and there is no need to stir, add glue and leave it in this position on the table.

4. After the time has elapsed, start stirring with a spoon; by this time the glue should begin to curl.

5. The glue has separated from the water and has become like a cool consistency, take it with your hands and try to catch this funny weirdo.

6. And here is a funny and mischievous licker pink color, but you could add red dye and it would be red. The toy is elastic, but a little harsh, if you want a more liquid option, then see the following descriptions.

We make it from flour and shower gel

The next option is quite simple and does not require much financial investment, which is liked by small children because it is safe and not so slippery and liquid. And how he develops fine motor skills is also important. By the way, do you even know how this wonderful toy that conquered the world appeared?

It turns out that it was invented a long time ago, it was in 1976, then such a toy was called slime, but then when for the first time a film about hunters who hunted ghosts was released on TV screens, and there was the most important and cool green and inimitable green hero, whose name was Lizun.

Since that time, this name has stuck; our children know these two concepts, so don’t worry, if you make a mistake, they will definitely understand you.

We will need:

  • shower gel - small amount 2-3 tbsp
  • flour - by eye

Stages of work:

1. First, take a clean and dry plate, pour into it liquid gel for the shower. Take the gel in the volume that you want to see this Velcro in the future, for some a small lick will be enough, for others you want to make a huge one.

2. Next, start adding regular wheat flour to the gel, spoon by spoon. Stir until smooth, what do you think happened? Actually nothing yet, the mixture looks like sticky dough. Add more flour and mix until just combined.

And then, with the help of your hands, start kneading and you will get super soft and elastic plasticine, or the same Velcro that wrinkles very well in your hands and is pleasant to play with.

In general, the toy is ready for fun. Run to your friends and show off your masterpiece.

Slime made from dish soap and starch

This option will appeal to young children, it is much harder than the previous one, it resembles something like modeling dough, the mass is elastic and pleasant to the touch, with children you can make all sorts of crafts from this mixture, as they say, sculpt, and use it instead of plasticine.

Many people claim that the result is a sticky monster from such ingredients, but for some reason I ended up with a mass similar to something else, try it and write what you got. After all, you can make this recipe in 2 minutes, and your kids will be so delighted.

We will need:

  • starch - 2 heaped tablespoons
  • Feri or Aos dishwashing detergent, or another - by eye

Stages of work:

1. Take a bowl and pour starch into it, but so that it covers the entire surface of the bowl, that is, distribute it evenly. Then add dish soap to the very center.

2. Add more product until you get a homogeneous mixture that you like. You can make it a little more gentle, or cooler, see for yourself and then play it for yourself.

No dye was used in this version because basically all dishwashing detergent already has various colors, it can be green, yellow and orange, and in principle any color. So take your remedy and do wonders!

Video on how to make slime easily and simply

Probably everyone wants not only a handsome and funny friend, with whom you can have fun and humor, but also to make it quickly in a matter of minutes, so this recipe will use an air freshener, incredible but true, even from this products are already making this slime.

If you want to understand it in more detail and in more detail, then watch this step by step video from the YouTube channel, it is quite popular in terms of views, and I think you will like it:

I also want to say that you will find out why the slime may not work, and what kind of freshener you should take.

Making a sticky monster out of shaving foam in 5 minutes

Such a thing can rightfully be called anti-stress, because you can do anything with it, crush it, throw it and even sculpt it. In addition, you make it yourself from various things, which means you develop creativity, and also learn to add certain ingredients correctly by eye, which is also important.

It turns out that you are like a scientist who measures and cuts himself, or a teacher. And then bam and it's done. By the way, such a toy can be placed in a net and then observed as a mass of sticky mass passes through it.

We will need:

  • shaving foam - 1 tbsp
  • silicate glue - 2 tbsp
  • Gloss detergent

Stages of work:

1. Take a deep cup and add shaving foam into it. Now add silicate glue to the foam and start mixing with a stick or you can take an unnecessary simple pencil. Then pour in a little Losk to thicken.

2. This is such an airy and fluffy plus stretchy licking bouncy thing. Store it in a jar to prevent it from drying out.

DIY slime without PVA glue and sodium tetraborate

Now let’s look at the most popular and well-known option, which everyone knows, it has been tried by thousands of subscribers, you will definitely be able to do it.

I remind everyone that sodium tetraborate can be bought at any pharmacy, do not be afraid of this word, it is due to it that the mass will thicken.

We will need:

  • PVA glue Luch - 1 pack
  • yellow dye
  • sodium tetraborate - a couple of drops
  • shaving foam - 2-4 tbsp
  • glue for puzzles - 1 jar

Stages of work:

1. Pour a whole packet of PVA glue into a glass jar, then add about 2-3 tablespoons of shaving cream. Mix very thoroughly.

2. Now add yellow dye, if you want your sticky souvenir to be more saturated, pour in more dye, duller, then less. Stir.

3. After all these actions, all that remains is to pour in a couple of drops of sodium and all our liquid will gradually begin to coagulate, all you have to do is mix well with a spoon.

4. How cool and soft the slime will be, but it can tear, if you don’t want this to happen, make it even more elastic.

To do this, take and pour puzzle glue into another container and pour in a couple of drops of sodium tetraborate, mix, do not overdo it with sodium, otherwise the whole mass will curl up very quickly, and then simply combine the yellow and transparent slime into one. It will turn out cool and super, like a toy in a store, I think this option is one of the best recipes.

By the way, many children use this gift as a keyboard cleaner.

Perhaps your slime will dry out over time, so it doesn’t matter, make a new one or just moisten it with water. Or you can go to the store and buy yourself another one, but this is an extreme method, I think it’s always more interesting to make such amusing trinkets yourself.

Made at home from toothpaste

Every apartment has personal hygiene products, so go to the bathroom and get some toothpaste. And take some sweets from the kitchen).

We will need:

  • toothpaste - 1 tbsp
  • sugar - 0.5 tsp

Stages of work:

1. Place a little toothpaste in a cup, since the example uses blue paste, then the slime will turn out to be blue, if you have a different one, then our funny little guy will turn out the same.

Stir the paste into a cup with a spoon. Add granulated sugar to it. Well, the mixture turns out, it probably tastes sweet).

2. Microwave this jar for 15 seconds. What do you think will happen?

Important! Don't forget to cover the cup with toothpaste tightly.

3. Now you need to put the mixture in the refrigerator for 3 hours after heating, by the way, it has already increased in volume, become soft and elastic.

4. Well, after the time is up, enjoy the game.

5. This type resembles chewing gum, or something living, you can make any animal out of it, what do you usually do?

Simple 2 ingredient recipe

Moving on, now let's make it out of liquid glue slime and adding ethyl alcohol. It also turns out interesting and seems to be alive, I liked this look for its simplicity, literally in 30 seconds or 1 minute you can already enjoy playing with this fun and easily controlled toy.

We will need:

  • liquid office glue - tube
  • ethyl alcohol - 50 ml

Stages of work:

1. Take a container and pour office glue into it first, and then alcohol. Alcohol can be purchased at a pharmacy.

2. Ethyl alcohol must be added slowly, it acts as a thickener; if you overdo it, the slime will immediately become hard. Therefore, it is best to pour it into a regular syringe and dose it a little into the glue. Each time you drop alcohol into the container, stir the mixture with a stick.

3. And this is what happens, by the way, until the glue has completely curled up, you can add dye or color it with a regular felt-tip pen. Wow, this is a creative thing.

4. The result is such an original mixture at first glance, which really looks like this modern fluffy slime toy.

5. As soon as it becomes difficult to stir the liquid in the cup, place it on the table and knead it with your hands, you will feel some small water, squeeze it out, over time after pressing it will disappear on its own.

And so it is so thick, but at the same time it will be a sticky and elastic toy. Make such a giant and you will love to surprise everyone. Play with your finger, make funny faces, etc.

This recipe will make a multi-colored slime that everyone, both children and adults, will certainly like.

We will need:

  • PVA -1 bottle
  • dye
  • Feri dishwashing detergent
  • boric acid - 25 ml
  • dyes

Stages of work:

1. Pour PVA glue into a jar, then add boric acid and mix everything very thoroughly. Then pour in the feri, just a little, about 1-2 tablespoons. Stir, the mass will trample right before your eyes, it will become fluffy.

2. Add another tablespoon of feri and start kneading the mixture with your hands.

3. Pour in any dye and mix with your hands. You will get a real slime like in the movies, but if you want to make a lot of toys, then divide the resulting mixture into several containers and add the desired color of dye to each container.

5. And then combine all the options in one bowl, you get a rainbow-arc. Play and create for your health! It turned out very well, and the main thing is that the consistency is exactly the same that everyone is so persistently looking for everywhere.

Slime without sodium tetraborate

I would like to offer you another option for making slime without the use of sodium tetraborate. This recipe uses only 3 ingredients, and one of them is ordinary dye. Let's see how to make slime with your own hands.

Hi all! In this article I will write several ways on how you can make the famous and beloved slime at home. This toy was very popular in my childhood, because it was in the 90s that the cartoon and film “Ghostbusters” were shown. In this cartoon there was a ghost Lizun, who became the prototype of the famous toy. She could stick to the wall, table, and quickly change her shape.

You can also make a similar toy yourself. This is a fun activity for kids (they love all kinds of experiences) and adults will enjoy the creation process too. So, I am writing some of the best ways.

I used this recipe to make slime with my daughter yesterday. The process is very fast, takes a couple of minutes. First you need to stock up on the necessary ingredients. This recipe produces a substance similar to “smart plasticine.” For it you will need:

  • PVA glue – 100 ml
  • solution of 4% sodium tetraborate (boron) - a few drops
  • food coloring (or brilliant green, or gouache)
  • plastic container
  • wooden stick (pencil or spatula)

These proportions make a fairly large slime. If you need a small one, reduce the quantity. You can make several slimes different colors, it will be much more interesting for children.

I made it in a gouache jar. You can use any plastic jar or container. First, pour PVA glue, add any dye you have to it. I used food coloring orange color(I still have it from Easter). You can also paint with brilliant green or gouache. Mix the glue and paint thoroughly with a pencil until the color is uniform.

Then pour in sodium tetraborate and mix well. If there is not enough tetraborate, add it little by little. The glue should become thick. The mass will begin to peel off from the pencil and jar. After this, you can take it with your hands and knead it. It relieves stress well in adults; it slowly spreads on the table into a small smooth puddle.

The only thing I didn’t like was that this slime (or smart plasticine, slime or handgam, which translates as chewing gum for hands) paints your hands and the table. I think it will be better with gouache. It also doesn't have a very pleasant glue smell. If desired, you can add flavorings to it, if you have any in the house.

The price of such a slime is low. I bought the glue for 35 rubles, sodium tetraborate is sold at any pharmacy without a prescription for 19 rubles, the dye cost me 5 rubles. Total - 59 rub. But I used about a sixth of the jar of glue for one slime, less than a third of tetraborate.

It is important that the glue is fresh, homogeneous, without water. You won't succeed with bad glue. You need to store the mixture in a closed jar so that it does not dry out.

Here's what I got (video):

Slime without sodium tetraborate

You can make a slime very similar to the previous one, only use liquid washing powder instead of sodium tetraborate. It is washing powder in gel, not fabric softener and other gels.

Take a look at the creation process:

Making slime from plasticine and gelatin

This method is popular and has good reviews. They write that it makes good slime. But such a toy is short-lived. Suitable for young children to develop fine motor skills. You will need:

  • plasticine (color optional) - 50 g.
  • gelatin - 25 gr.
  • warm water - 30 ml
  • plastic container for mixing ingredients
  • a metal container for heating gelatin (can be in plastic or ceramic if you use a microwave)
  • wooden stirring stick

First, pour cold water into the gelatin in a metal container until the water covers it. Leave for 20 minutes for the powder to swell. After this, you need to heat the mass so that it completely dissolves. This can be done in a water bath or in the microwave. In the second case, heat the gelatin for about 2 minutes.

In a plastic container, pour warm water into the plasticine and stir with a wooden stick until smooth. Add the cooled gelatin to the plasticine and mix everything thoroughly again. Then you put our slime in the refrigerator to harden. When it hardens, it’s ready! The finished toy should also be stored in the refrigerator in a closed container.

How to make slime from starch and PVA glue

This is also a simple method, like the first and second. The difference is that liquid starch (rather than boron or liquid powder) is used as a thickener. Required components:

  • PVA glue - 100 ml.
  • liquid starch (this is not food starch, but chemical agent for washing). You can take food, but the result will be worse. If you take food starch, you will need to mix it with water - 140 ml
  • dye (green paint, gouache, food coloring)
  • plastic bag

They write that according to this recipe the slime will turn out just like in the store. To make this slime, you need to pour starch into a small bag, add paint and glue.

Mix everything thoroughly with your hands until smooth through polyethylene. After this, the mass should be given time to freeze in the refrigerator (about 3 hours). That's it, the toy is ready, you can play!

If any excess liquid remains after mixing, it must be drained.

Other slime options at home

There are many more various options. But they don't guarantee good result. Most of those who have tried other recipes write that nothing worked. For example, they make slime using baking soda. Only in this case a very hard substance is obtained, which cannot in any way be called slime, handgam, etc. There is no way to crush it. So it's better not to waste your time making such a creature.

There is also a way to make slime from shampoo and Titan glue. But slime using this method will most likely not work either. It will spread and stick to your hands.

There is also a way to make a toy using polyvinyl alcohol instead of glue. But this method is quite troublesome. First, you need to find this very alcohol in powder and dilute it correctly with water. And then cook for a full 35 minutes. I think not everyone will want to bother so much when there are more accessible and faster ways.

In some sources I found a recipe for making slime from flour, water and dye. But every person knows that when you mix flour with water, you get dough. You can sculpt with this dough, it is safe for babies, good for fine motor skills, but it is not slime. I make this colored play dough for my kids because it's softer than play dough.

  1. Store the slime in a closed jar with a tight lid. Otherwise it will dry out.
  2. Do not store the toy in warm places. Moreover, do not place it on a battery or in the sun.
  3. Do not place the handgam on a fleecy surface. Because of this, hairs will stick to it and it will lose its structure and smoothness.
  4. You can add flavorings or essential oils to eliminate the smell of glue and other components.
  5. You can experiment with the composition of the mixture. You can add two drops of vinegar to the paint mixture - the slime will stick better. If you add a little hydrogen peroxide, the mass will turn out more airy and not sticky. If you add glycerin, the “pulver” will become slippery.
