We tried to find the simplest possible recipe and adapt it to our conditions and familiar products.

  • chicken fillet (meat from the breast and thighs) – about 500 g;
  • roasted well-roasted peanuts - about 100 g;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • fresh ginger – 1 small root;
  • sweet pepper – 1-2 pcs. (preferably dark green, but yellow, orange or red is also possible);
  • hot red pepper;
  • ground coriander;
  • corn starch – 2 tablespoons;
  • high-quality soy sauce - 4 tablespoons;
  • Shaoxing rice wine or mirin – 2 tablespoons;
  • brown sugar – 1 tbsp;
  • sesame oil;
  • peanut or other vegetable oil or rendered chicken fat;
  • greens for decoration (cilantro, parsley, basil, lemongrass).

First, marinate the meat. Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes or rectangular bars (optionally, short strips).

Place the meat in a container of suitable volume, add 1 tbsp. spoon of starch, 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce and rice wine. Mix thoroughly and place in a cool place for at least half an hour, but no more than 2 hours.

Prepare the sauce. Mix the remaining starch, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil. Add 2-3 tbsp. spoons of water.

Grate the ginger, chop the hot pepper (if it’s fresh), add the crushed pepper and crush the garlic. Pour all this into the sauce and let it brew, then strain.

Cook in a wok or deep frying pan. The meat should be fried in small batches, the pieces should not be crowded, or use a larger frying pan. Heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces over medium-high heat, stirring frequently with a spatula and shaking the pan, for about 5-8 minutes. Add sweet pepper, cut into short strips. Fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes, turning with a spatula.

Add separately pre-roasted peanuts and sauce. Cook everything together over lower heat, stirring. We bring it to the stage of caramelization: this is when the meat begins to shine slightly and acquires a beautiful and deep dark golden-brown hue (do not miss this moment, otherwise it will burn, it will be tasteless and unhealthy).

Place the finished gongbao chicken on a common dish or in portioned containers. You can sprinkle everything with lemon or lime juice. We decorate with greenery. Separately, be sure to serve boiled rice, or rice noodles. Cucumbers and tomatoes are cut into large pieces, sweet peppers into strips, onions into half rings. But if you can’t find sweet onions, it’s better not to take any - children don’t particularly like other types of this vegetable. Vegetables are laid out in layers in a deep bowl, with cheese grated on a coarse grater on top.

Advice! For Shopska salad, it is better to use cow cheese - it is harder and grates better. If it is very salty, you won't need additional salt for the salad.

"Olivier"

It makes no sense to give a recipe for this salad, since every family has long had its own recipe, proven by generations. The only thing worth noting is that instead of doctor's sausage, it is better to take boiled chicken or boiled tongue here - this is a healthier alternative.

For children preschool age It is better to replace pickles with fresh ones, and mayonnaise with sour cream. In an effort to feed children well, do not forget about main task: It’s good to feed them.

Sauerkraut salad

IN winter time the number of salads that could be prepared is sharply reduced: many products, even if sold in supermarkets, do not please with either price or quality (benefits). We have to remember the old, proven ones, and, however, delicious recipes.

Sauerkraut is something that many children enjoy. But it’s even more interesting to combine it with other ingredients. For example:

  • sauerkraut - 200 g;
  • beets - 2 pcs.;
  • peas - 100 g;
  • vegetable oil.

Boil the beets, cool and grate. Lightly chop the cabbage to make the fibers shorter and add to the beets. Add canned peas, salt the salad and season with oil.

Salad with Chinese cabbage, chicken and croutons
A dish that sells with a bang, not least thanks to the ingredient adored by all children - crackers. To prepare this salad you need:

  • Chinese cabbage - 1 pc.;
  • chicken fillet - 2 pcs.;
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • cheese - 150 g;
  • bread - 250 g;
  • salt;
  • low-fat sour cream.

Boil the chicken fillet. This can be done the day before so that there are fewer worries for that day. Finely chop the cabbage, add tomatoes cut into slices and chicken into cubes. Also cut the cheese into cubes and add to the rest of the ingredients. Lightly add salt and stir - the tomatoes will release their juice and it will soak everything.

While the salad is infusing, cut the bread into cubes about 1x1 cm and fry in a dry frying pan or in the oven. Allow the crackers to cool so that there is no temperature contrast. Season the salad with sour cream, pour into the container in which it will be served, and set aside. Just before serving, add croutons. If you do this too early, they will become soggy and lose their crispiness.

"Caprese"

one of the simplest salads. It has only one drawback - it is only good from field, natural tomatoes, so it is better to cook it only in June-October. But if a children's party falls at this time, Caprese must be on the table.

Its composition is extremely simple:

  • tomatoes;
  • Mozzarella;
  • olive oil;
  • basil;
  • salt, pepper

Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into slices of equal thickness and place in the shape of a ring on a dish, alternating pieces of tomato with pieces of cheese. Lightly sprinkle with spices and pour over oil. Garnish with a few basil leaves. This is a spicy spice, and not all children like it. Therefore, for a children’s table, it is better to use only one or three branches for decoration in this dish.

Shrimp salad

It is very, very rare that children like greens. No matter how much parents say that it is useful, it does not help - they continue to ignore it. On the other hand, many children love shrimp. Therefore, if you combine greens and shrimp, this will definitely become a popular dish.

So, to prepare a vitamin salad, you need:

  • peeled shrimp - 500 g;
  • mixed greens - 200 g;
  • olives - 100 g;
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • olive oil;
  • salt.

Wash the greens thoroughly and leave in a sieve to drain. At this time, heat water in a saucepan, add salt and boil the shrimp for 5 minutes. Then pat the greens dry with a paper towel and tear into fairly large pieces.

Advice! The choice of greens should be approached responsibly: children do not always like arugula, basil and other herbs with a pronounced taste. It is better if it is a mixture of neutral greens: Lola Rosso, lettuce, Chinese cabbage etc.

Place the greens on a plate, place the shrimp on top, and sprinkle the olives cut into slices between them. Season with salt, sprinkle with lemon juice and drizzle with a little oil. You don’t even need to stir the salad - it already looks very appetizing.

Salad with pineapple and chicken

If not all, then many children love canned pineapple. And the classic combination of pineapple and chicken will be a win-win. The set of ingredients is small:

  • pineapples - 1 pc.;
  • chicken - 300 g;
  • cheese - 100 g;
  • salt;
  • mayonnaise.

Boil the chicken. Cut the pineapples into cubes: you can cut them into pieces across the ring or into the same pieces, but still divided in half. Cut the cheese into cubes. Cooled chicken - also into cubes.

Place chicken in a bowl, top with pineapples, and lastly add cheese. Mix everything, add salt, mix again. In a separate bowl, mix pineapple syrup and mayonnaise in 1:1 proportions and season the salad with this mixture.

The dish will look more appetizing if served in portioned baskets, garnishing each with a sprig of dill. For older children, you can add nuts or fried mushrooms to the salad.

Beet and prune salad

A simple salad that kids either love or don’t like. But he does not remain indifferent to him. You will need:

  • beets - 3 pcs.;
  • pitted prunes - 200 g;
  • walnuts - 50 g;
  • sour cream - 100 ml.

Boil the beets until tender and remove to cool. While it cools, rinse the prunes thoroughly and add boiling water to make them swell and become juicier. Roast the nuts in the oven (or alternatively in a dry frying pan) to make them harder and more aromatic; grind them in a blender.

Grate the beets on a coarse grater, cut the prunes into slices across the fruit, add nuts and season with sour cream. If desired, the salad can be salted.

"Sunflower"

A salad with an unusual design attracts children to the main forbidden delicacy - chips. But due to the presence of this ingredient, it is recommended to prepare it for children of school age.

Sunflower salad is made from the following ingredients:

  • chicken breast - 2 pcs.;
  • eggs - 4 pcs.;
  • champignons 300 g;
  • onions - 2 pcs.;
  • olives - 1 jar;
  • mayonnaise;
  • salt;
  • pepper;
  • chips.

Boil chicken meat. Boil the eggs too. Peel the mushrooms, cut into not very large pieces and fry, add a little salt and pepper, after 10 minutes add the onion, fry for another 5 minutes.

Cut the finished meat into pieces, place on a wide dish, add salt and pour over a fine mesh of mayonnaise. The next layer is mushrooms, the last one is coarsely grated eggs. Place rings of olives on top of the eggs (cut each olive into 3-4 parts) - you get an imitation of seeds. Chips will imitate the leaves - they need to be laid out around the perimeter of the salad.

Advice! It is better to take chips that are approximately the same size. Chips flavored with herbs and sour cream or cheese go well with the Sunflower salad.

Fruit salad

A dish that children will enjoy eating. It is prepared from any fruit that is at home: apples, bananas, kiwi, oranges, tangerines, mangoes, pineapples, peaches, apricots, grapes, strawberries. The fruits are pitted, cut into slices, topped with low-fat yogurt or natural yoghurt: quick, simple and very tasty.

Children's tastes can be easily satisfied if you use your imagination when preparing ordinary dishes. Sometimes the task of choosing dishes for the holiday table is also complicated by the age of the child. The older the baby, the easier choice products, because everything has been tried for a long time, even reactions to exotic tropical fruits are known. But what if the “celebrator of the day” celebrates his birthday for only the second time in his life? First, let’s figure out what products to use to prepare children’s salads for a 2-year-old birthday.

Choose foods that will not become an unbearable burden for children’s digestion: fresh and boiled vegetables, seasonal fruits, light meat (also boiled) - better than a bird or lean river fish.

  • Be sure to take into account the allergenic factor - if your child or any of the invited children are allergic to any of the products, of course, this product will have to be completely excluded.
  • Try not to use anything that typically contains preservatives. If you are going to use canned vegetables, fruits or fish, purchase them at a baby food store, in accordance with the age of the children for whom the table is designed.
  • A very important point - what younger child, the more carefully the salad components should be crushed (ground, crumbled or shredded). At two years old, a child should already be able to chew pieces quite well, but it is better if they are very small.
  • If possible, it is better to replace mayonnaise in children's salads with sour cream and yogurt dressing. If you can’t do without mayonnaise, then make it yourself - homemade mayonnaise will definitely not contain allergenic dyes, thickeners containing GMOs and other unnecessary things.
  • Do not use any pickles, smoked meats or marinades.
  • Don't add any spices at all except salt.

  • 100 g chicken or turkey fillet;
  • 150 grams of boiled potatoes;

  • sour cream or milk yoghurt in half with sour cream.

Grate the vegetables and egg - each product onto a separate plate. Chop the meat finely. On an oval flat plate, place the base of the “carrot” - a layer of potatoes in the form of a long triangle with rounded corners. Place the meat in the second layer, then the cheese, then the egg. Each layer should be lightly salted, and sour cream or yogurt sauce should be applied in a “mesh” between the layers. The most top layer put in the carrots, make a “tail” out of the dill, and the “carrot” is ready.

"Fish"

  • 200 grams of boiled fish fillet;
  • 3 boiled potatoes;
  • 1 cucumber;
  • 1 medium green apple;
  • 100 grams of cheese;
  • homemade mayonnaise.

Grate potatoes, apple, cucumber, egg and cheese separately, mash the fillet with a fork. Place half of the potatoes in the shape of a fish with a tail on a plate, place the fish on it and again the potatoes (slightly salt all layers and coat lightly with mayonnaise). Place a cucumber on top of the potatoes, an apple on top of the cucumber, and cheese as the last layer. Draw “scales” on the fish with mayonnaise and make fins from a piece of apple with peel.

"Mushrooms"

  • 10 medium-sized cream tomatoes;
  • 5 small round tomatoes;
  • 1 small cucumber;
  • olive oil;
  • salt.

Cut the caps off the tomatoes and scoop out the centers with a teaspoon. Finely chop the lids and centers, mix with grated or finely chopped cucumber, salt and season with olive oil. Fill tomato cups with this salad. Cut the round tomatoes in half and cover the cups with them - you get mushrooms with a cap. You can put dots of sour cream or mayonnaise on the caps - there will be “fly agarics”. Don’t forget to make “grass” from lettuce leaves on the plate with the “mushrooms”.

When a child has graduated from primary school and entered the fourth grade, he will probably consider salads designed in the form of a simple fish, snake or snowman to be too “childish”. Smile, you were like that too.

Children's salads for their 11th birthday should be more complex both in ingredients and in design. Here you can use mayonnaise more freely, pickles and smoked meats are allowed - it’s still better if they are homemade.

Girls will love the “Sunflower” salad with “ladybugs” and the glamorous “Strawberry in Pineapple” fruit salad. Boys will absolutely love the Spiderman salad and will probably really like the T-Rex salad.

  • 250 – 300 grams of boiled or smoked chicken;
  • boiled milk corn grains – 400 g;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 200 grams of homemade pickled mushrooms;
  • 200 grams of boiled carrots;
  • olives, chips, dill and 1 cherry tomato - for decoration;
  • mayonnaise.

Cut all the salad components into cubes, mix, salt and season with mayonnaise. Place a dome-shaped salad in the middle of a round dish. Place chips around the circumference of the dish - these will be petals. From the chips along the edge of the salad, make a border of black olives - they will represent sunflower seeds. Cut the cherry tomato in half and make a cut on each half - these will be the “elytra” of the ladybugs. Place the “ladies” on the “flower” and make heads and specks of olives for them.

"Strawberries in Pineapple"

  • one large ripe aromatic pineapple
  • 100 g strawberries;
  • 100 grams of red grapes;
  • 100 g blueberries.

Wash the pineapple thoroughly with hot water and a brush, and without peeling, cut it in half. Using a spoon or a special knife-notch, select the core so that you get two “boats”. Cut the pineapple pulp into cubes and place in a bowl. Add there not very finely diced strawberries, halved grapes and blueberries. Stir and taste - if it is not sweet enough, you can add a teaspoon of powdered sugar. Place the resulting salad in pineapple boats and serve.

"Spiderman"

  • 5 pieces of boiled potatoes;
  • 200 grams of boiled tongue;
  • 2 pickled cucumbers;
  • 2 boiled eggs;
  • mayonnaise;
  • for decoration - ketchup, olives and green onions.

Grate three potatoes and place on a round dish, add salt. Cut the tongue into strips, add salt, season with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and place on potatoes. Grate the pickles over the potatoes. Place a layer of grated eggs on top of the cucumbers. Grind two potatoes into a puree with the addition of butter. Beat the puree thoroughly, cover the entire salad with it like a cream and smooth it with a spoon. Draw a spider web on the puree with ketchup. Build a spider from olives and green onions and place it on the side of the cobweb.

"T-Rex"

  • 300 g boiled chicken breast;
  • 200 g small boiled pasta“shells” or “horns”;
  • 300 grams of corn;
  • 200 grams of tomatoes;
  • 4 pickled cucumbers;
  • parsley;
  • 200 grams of good sour cream;
  • salt, black pepper;
  • 4 pieces of large fleshy green bell peppers of the Odessa variety.

Chop the fillet, tomatoes and cucumbers into cubes, add corn, pasta, salt, pepper and season with sour cream. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Slice teeth along the edge of both pepper parts. Fill one of the pepper halves with salad and cover with the other half - you will get a “dinosaur”.

"Turtle"

  • 250 grams of chicken or turkey fillet;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 200 g apples;
  • 1 onion;
  • 150 grams of cheese;
  • 200 grams of walnut halves;
  • salt, mayonnaise;
  • lettuce, boiled egg and pickled cucumber for garnish.

Boil the fillet and chop finely. Chop the onion, pour boiling water over it, rinse cold water- so it won’t be bitter. Grate apples, cheese and eggs. Place lettuce leaves on a round dish. Layer fillet, onion, apple, eggs and cheese on them. Lightly salt the layers and coat with mayonnaise. Cover the entire top of the salad with walnuts, make a turtle head from an egg, and paws from a pickled cucumber.

"Mimosa"

  • 1 can of cod liver;
  • 3 boiled potatoes “in their jackets”;
  • 3 pickled cucumbers;
  • 1 apple;
  • 3 boiled eggs;
  • 50 grams of cheese;
  • mayonnaise.

For decoration - a few feathers of green onions and a slice of lightly salted red fish.

Place on a dish in layers: half the potatoes, mashed cod liver, the other half of the potatoes, grated cucumbers, apple, eggs, cheese. Make a mesh of mayonnaise on top of the cheese. Cut out a “fish” from a slice of red fish, divide the onion feathers lengthwise with a knife and use them to decorate the salad.
